Mascot Houseboats

It was such an amazing experience staying here, Me myself is a photographer and my wife Is interior designer and we keep travelling but we couldn't find such houseboat ever, staff is amazing and owner Imtiyaz bhai is very welcoming and trust me guys don't think about anything before booking this stay. Their interior and balcony is superb. we will strongly recommend everyone to come here

Our stay at Macon Houseboat was stunningly tranquil & beautiful The short boat trip across the lake was peaceful as we listened to the water lap against the sides of the boat. The rooms are spacious and ornate and overlook the water. The staff and service was excellent we ate a fresh and healthy breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend experiencing a night on the Mascot Houseboat

I had the most amazing 2 day stay at Mascot Houseboats on nigeen lake. I'm glad I chose this houseboat over dal lake. Imtiyaz, the part owner greeted me upon arrival in which you take a shikara to. He also set me up with a driver named imran(who made my trip to srinagar memorable) he picked me up at the airport and drove me around all the sights of srinagar for an extra reasonable fee. I was given a complimentary upgrade as well. I still appreciate that. The view around the houseboat was beautiful with the backdrop of the mountains and all the colored buildings...stunning. The interior of the houseboat is typical kashmiri wooden style. Breakfast is complimentary and very good but what makes the stay is the dinner served. I never ate anywhere else while in srinagar after the first night. The chef provides chicken, mutton , rice, Sabri, the lotus stem curry was to die for!. Its alot of food. I hurt myself because I didn't want to waste any. The surrounding area behind is nice as well. I would definitely recommend staying here and spending the extra money to do so. I also liked the idea of sellers coming to the lobby area for jewelry etc. I bought a silver onyx ring very cheap and unique. Thank you again imtiyaz for the great stay I had. I must come again to see the rest of kashmir.

Beautiful houseboat on the quieter Nigeen lake. Imti Tu***, the personable owner made sure our stay was comfortable. He helped us book tours and showed us his beautiful gallery. The food and service was excellent. We highly recommend this houseboat.

It's a very beautiful place with a stunning view! The architecture is just breath taking with their special kashmiri style wood carving. The staff is very courteous and the place is well maintained with a fabulous location. Totally recommend this place for people who look for a quiet and beautiful place. The Emperor Suite is so aesthetically done with amazing lighting. Oh the heavenly view!

We had an amazing experience in the Mascot Houseboat. Such a regal feeling and the food is the best we ate in our Kashmir trip. We would highly recommend this houseboat stay. It’s definitely a must!

The Mascot Houseboat on Lake Nageen was a very restful and peaceful experience. It was lovely to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The houseboat is beautifully furnished and the staff are very attentive and polite. Sitting on the deck in the early morning and watching the mountains and the lake in the quiet time of day is like medidating. It is a must visit for anyone going to Srinagar.

The Houseboat is very tastefully decorated! Emperor Suite was very beautiful! Our stay on the whole was a great experience. The meals were outstanding! Just the wifi and TV was not working. The service staff attended to us very well. The ***ager Imtiyaz all the time asking if we need anything! If u want to enjoy houseboat experience in Srinagar it has to be Mascot Houseboat for sure!

Living in Mascot houseboat was an amazing experience. We did 3nights there unlike people's suggestion to do just 1night in the houseboat and it was an addictive feeling ....we all loved it so so much. It was like a palatial abode floating on the most spectacular part of Srinagar with an amazing staff who did everything to make us feel extra special.
