Property is run down. Bed not very comfortable, room was cold, blankets were thin. Couldn’t get hot water for the shower. The room was clean and the view was cool. Location convenient for downtown activities. Staff were friendly even though overworked. William Bs restaurant was not worth the money; would definitely skip it. Hubs spent 30 minutes in a restaurant to get breakfast- never even got a water before he gave up. Many other local ****** hotel options. Will definitely pick an alternate on the next trip.

FUN STAY, ME AND WIFE GET AWAY FOR WEEKEND, THE ONLY COMPLAINT IS WHEN YOU ARE IN ****** PLAYING SLOTS IT TOOK FOREVER TO GET A WAITRESS FOR A DRINK. WE DONT DRINK MUCH BUT WHEN YOU WANT ONE YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO GO LOOKING. OUR ROOM WAS AWESOME WITH GREAT VIEW AND OVERALL GREAT STAY.

The room was ok seemed clean but when u walk into the bathroom it smelled like urine ! We had 2 rooms and both bathrooms smelled horrible. Bathtub was clogged as well. To be fair the entire staff was very kind and helpful.

I normally LOVE hotel pillows but I had a hard time sleeping on these. The front deals was very sweet but no creamer packs with our coffee, and I was NOT impressed with William Bs steakhouse at all. A dirty table was left dirty the entire time we ate, they forgot a side and the steaks were overcooked.

The rooms at Sam’s Hotel are the nicest I have seen in Shreveport/ Bossier. With walking distance to other ******s/restaurants it is a great place to stay.

The 1st room I was put in they had no lock at the top so I requested a new room. They put me in another room. Well that room was hot, & we didn’t get much sleep. I hated to change rooms because it was late and I was traveling with little kids. The staff was very friendly.
