Al Baleed Resort has great location with miles of unspoilt white sand beach. Eating options are limited to only 3 restaurants.
The breakfast at the Salkana restaurant is extremely good with great service from all the staff. However, the dinner buffet for the Indian night was below average with some dishes that did NOT do justice to the Indian Cuisine. There is much room for improvement on food quality and taste.
The Al Mina restaurant (Mediterranean Cuisine) was very disappointing in terms of vegetarian options and general service. On one occasion we had to wait 40 minutes before even the bread & olive oil were brought to the table!

Overall one of the best hotels I ever stayed in. Side note; I live in the UAE, where 5 stars hotel are really common.
The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, the beds super comfy and the washrooms are every woman's dream (lightning, mirrors and amouage amenities).
Staff is super attentive, accommodating and naturally friendly. They actually love what they do and we as guests can feel it's authenticity - which makes everything dining experience really special. The food was beyond delicious and the variety in the buffet made it hard to choose and even harder to not overeat.
Congratulations to the management and leadership of the hotel team - you truly do an amazing job.
I will definitely be back!

The resort wes amazing and staff were very friendly. Everything in the hotel were above standard including the breakfast however the price was high

Buen descanso en un lugar paradisiaco. Atención en el servicio, calidad de la cama y de las instalaciones. La cocina está bien pero les Falta un toque de sofisticación. Muy ruidoso y cuando se hace barbacoa hay demasiado humo. El personal es fantástico desde recepción hasta camareros.

We had wonderful holiday in Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara. Villas give a privacy for quests. They are very good designed and the pool is super. We felt as at home. We were satisfied with restaurants, mainly Al Mina. The hotel is just right, neither too big nor too small. I have to appreciate the staff of hotel, restaurants and room attandent (mainly Soboj and Saimon - you can see their greeting).

Great experience with them, beautiful a**osphere Enjoyed with family, especially my children's, it's like a paradise Tasty foods, juices, cakes.. Lote of memories The staffs are very friendly and very helpful. Especially in the restaurant staffs. Thank u for every one, keep going🥰

Absolutely fantastic hotel with the best team of employees. I experienced a tremendous focus on service and everything is up, it was just perfect. The highlight for me was Mihira, the personal trainer (Sports Supervisor). He is such a kind, bubbly person, And had a great time with him. It was always fun and entertaining doing activities with him like Aqua Aerobics,Stretching exercises and Aerobics classes…… Aqua Aerobics in the pool , it was super fun because Mihira made sure everyone got involved. Definitely you should meet him . If you are a sportsman choose this resort and meet Mihira. Anantara you need to be proud to have a great person like him. thank you for great Customer service Mihira and the Anantara team . Overall amazing 5-star luxury Resort with an Amazing Coach Mihira You are the BEST ( we will definitely be back :)😍

This is a resort that offers a beach environment next to nothing I’ve ever experienced. After two business visits to Oman back in ’93 & ‘98 I always wanted to return as a tourist, and especially visiting Salalah area. So, on our 50th wedding anniversary, my wife and I headed off. On arrival to reception, to room, to restaurant, every detail was perfect. The best thing we can say is looking forward to a return trip.
