It was a very pioneer look, very convienient from the Ferries. A nice walk to see the spawning salmon. Host was very polite & would stay here again.

This property is located near a junk yard. Our room’s floor slanted and the bed tilted to conform to the tilt of the floor. We did not stay. One look at the room, and we found other accommodations. One important feature that was omitted by *******—the only restaurant featured sushi.
As we dashed out of there, the proprietor tried to encourage us to stay in his best broken English. We could not leave fast enough.

I needed a hotel in Port Hardy for work and this was the last available. For $160/night, I got a rock hard mattress with a sticky floor (carpet).
The bed was clean, as was the bedding. The bathroom was clean enough.
I mean… it’s a hotel at the edge of civilization and I didn’t have super-high expectations. It served its purpose, and that’s about it.

I expected worse but it wasn't bad at all. Other than our unit smelling of inscense or something like that, it was clean. Clean bathroom. The shower wasn't working too well, but it isn't surprising for a tired building. Very quiet which was awesome. I would stay again if I'm needing a pit stop along to my destination.

Not pet friendly. They allow pets but then warn you after checkin and a pet fee that dog hair found on the bed could result in more charges. Not damage, just hair! This is hilarious because the room was gross little gnats in the kitchen and bathroom and a condom wrapper on the floor. Matteress felt like a piece of plywood.

It's a work in progress. They have painted outside, and it looks ok. The owner was nice. Our bathroom had whiskers on the sink and made me think it hadn't been cleaned. The beds were pretty good, and the sheets were clean.
