Just a run down old Best Western with a new name.
This just definitely wasn't what I expected when I booked. I am out of town visiting family in town and misread the pool being outdoors. When we asked the lady at the front, she was extremely sarcastic. The remote for the tv barely worked. A light switch was missing. The comforters tag was hanging out right next to my face on the bed. I would have stayed elsewhere having known better.
Dont waste your money.

Our room was extremely gross with stains on the bed, the sheets and furniture. It had burn marks in carpet and curtains. The tv also didn’t work.
The staff was really great though

The whole hotel smells like smoke, there were holes in the wall in our room and stains covering the carpet. The room is extremely sp****ly furnished with dingy, damaged furniture. Definitely not worth $140 per night.

So it’s an older hotel and definitely shows signs of wear and tear. The staff was great! They were the shining stars. My tv wasn’t in the correct source and the remote didn’t have the corresponding button so they came right up and fixed it. (With a toggle on the tv.) After she left I went to brush my teeth and oooooh. There were shavings from beards and mustaches in both sinks. It was late and I really didn’t want to deal with changing rooms so I tried to rinse it out but it backed up and into the other sink. Yuck. I brushed in the shower. The room was pretty tired and dark, the couch old, but the room itself was hug. The bed was really clean and comfortable so I thought I’d get some sleep and it would be fine for one night. I almost dozed off when the first of three (or was it four) trains went by. The windows may be original and do nothing to dampen the sound. I just left the tv on and got up early to split. The breakfast bar is great and the other patrons seemed very nice. But I’ll stay somewhere else next time, even though it’s a really good value.

The hotel was old and you could tell. The heater in my room sounded like a plane taking off. The fan in the bathroom was also noisy. The tub in the shower would fill during a shower and would drain afterwards. We did not have anyone clean our room during our stay. Upon checkout, I was told "we needed to tell them" when we needed the room to be cleaned, changed sheets, or more towels were needed. The hotel was not clean in several areas. The only high point, was the breakfast was very tasty.

Although the carpets and decor were older and in some cases pretty ready for replacement, the cleanliness was good. There was a lack of supplies such as cups, coffee, toilet paper, and towels that we had to request a few times. We were there for 2 nights and received no housekeeping during our stay. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, went elsewhere the second morning.

We really enjoyed the wide variety of food available for the continental breakfast. The room was bigger than we are used to and the price was smaller. Over all a great visit!

Booked a King non smoking a week ago
Sold out when we arrived , they gave us a double instead, was pushing for the suite…
Gym and pool under construction, but nice facilities next door, free for guests, accommodating.
Quiet rooms on third floor, air conditioning , heating unit , is whisper quiet.
Wife says the third floor hallways, remind her of the movie, The Shining lol.

The front staff had a "I don't care" attitude. It would be a very beautiful magnificent hotel if the owners maintained it. The gym is in a separate building which really was a disappointment as that's the only reason I chose this hotel. The room cleanliness was good, hot water took a while to come, but overall good experience.
