We’ve just come to the end of a fantastic week staying at the Hotel L’Eterlou in Meribel. The rooms we small but very comfortable and everything had been thought about. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is perfectly functional. The choices for the buffet breakfast were great. Choices for dinner were varied and very tasty, we certainly didn’t feel like the portion sizes were small as you had three courses. The pool, hot tub, sauna and hamman was a welcomed sight after a long day/week skiing. A big thank you to all the wonderful staff that were welcoming and friendly. You really made our stay special and we will hopefully see you next year!

Rooms are small with facilities patchy -eg plug sockets too low so can only have tv or kettle on as the multi way adapter hits the sideboard. Safe in wardrobe hasn’t been fixed to anything so could just tuck under your arm/bag and walk out. Bar great. Pool & jacuzzi facilities all good. Breakfast great. Do not go half board with kids. A la carte menu is great & includes kids menu but the HB menu is limited to 2 choices, none of which are child friendly. Eg last night; beetroot salad or cabbage soup, then reblouchon quiche or fish. Shame as it’s marketed as a family hotel.

Great central location in town and by ski lifts and amenities (outdoor jacuzzi, heated pool, steam room and sauna, restaurant and bar, ski room, pool table, baby foot, table tennis, ski shop). Staff were lovely and went over and beyond to help us out. Will definitely stay there again. But bring your own flipflops - tobe provided but not slippers!

Lovely hotel located at the heart of Meribel. 2 minute walk to the main slopes and right next door to the Olympic Park. Our room had a balcony looking out over the outdoor pool, facing the slopes - what a view to wake up to in the morning! The hotel was nice and clean, and the staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them. We booked on a half-board basis and we couldn’t fault the meals. Choice of 2 starters, mains and desserts every night and the breakfast selection was extensive - bacon, scrambled eggs, yoghurts, pancakes, croissants, cereals, breads, cheeses, meats! They have a secure dryroom to put your skis etc in at the end of each day which has CCTV. Our room was warm and cosy, and cleaned daily. The bar area has a pool table and table football, perfect if you don’t fancy going out. We made use of the pool, hot tub and sauna most nights which were lovely and hot, and the perfect wind down after a full day skiing. We will definitely being staying here again.

Overall, lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, accommodation cosy, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, but evening meals were awful on the half board deal. Only two choices per course and the portions were extremely small. We offered to pay more to have choices off the full menu, but we were told we couldn't. We ended up eating out 5 out of 7 nights. Hence can recommend the hotel, but do not take the half board option, stick with B & B.

The hotel is really nice and the facilities are really good. We were half-board and our evening meal was really nice but could do with a bigger portion as they were a little bit small. And the beds in the hotel are really uncomfortable and hard, but apart from that really nice place to stay.

Very friendly service and kind personnell, clean rooms with nice views and comfortable beds, sunny terrace in front of reception, great location, very good breakfast, cozy wooden interior, outdoors sauna&pool&jacuzzi were sooo extra nice, great location in the centre of the beautiful Meribel village, walking distance to restaurants and shopping and slopes. This hotel offers all you need for a good holiday! Warm recommendation, thank you, will definitely choose this hotel next time again!!!!

Great location,clean rooms,great brekfast and friendly service.After great skiing we really loved the wonderfull pool&sauna. Overall staff in the hotel was nice and friendly but especially Leo and Alex deserve special thanks for superb service.

Would say that it is highly expensive for what is offered. Rooms are nice, with a large balcony and great shower. However beds are incredibly uncomfortable- too short and rock solid. Only one proper pillow given, even after asking for an additional one to be added. Also, for €45 the food is considerably average- only two options per course and ridiculously small portions. Furthermore, after choosing one of the options, an entirely different dish (e.g. pesto pasta instead of chicken?) was served without any prior communication of this and management seemed adamant that this was our issue. Amenities are decent- pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room available (although jacuzzi is very much luke warm), as well as a nice on site bar. Finally, many of the corridors/ staircase smells horrible, although thankfully this smell does not exist within the rooms. All in all, this hotel is at a great location to the slopes- just a five minute walk to the closest lifts, however is definitely over priced for what it offers and other, probably more affordable options, are definitely available within Meribel.
