Friendly staff and great location! I had a problem with the the door lock. It wouldn’t open with the key card. The front desk staff found some one to help me open it quickly.

Location is perfect. Really nice place just next to old town and town was pretty.
Hotel building can feel the history. Air conditioning working well. Room was clean and people is nice with delicious breakfast buffet. From 7:00am - 10:00am. And check out time is wonderful till 12:00pm.
But 1 thing, wifi connection is not good. This is hurting point.
Hope can be improved next time :)

Hermoso hotel estilo palacio barroco, con toques art nouveau. Extraordinaria atención del personal, muy limpio, magnífica localización. Buen desayuno, amplias habitaciones. Elegante pórtico Belle Epoque, con puertas y marquesina originales.

La dedicación del personal es exquisita, especialmente la señorita encargada del desayuno. Muy amable y atenta. La habitación es muy comoda y espaciosa. El entorno es extraordinario. Sin duda, volveremos pronto.

I stayed here 6 years ago and returned with 5 friends as it is so well located and we were so well looked after by the staff previously. This hotel is 80 metres from the main square, local Polish restaurants in the same street were delicious and such fantastic value if it’s too chilly at markets to eat outside. The hotel is older in style, we loved its grandeur. It is immaculately clean with a wide choice of food for breakfast. What has made this hotel so fantastic is the staff. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. They arranged taxis, luggage, always checking we had all we needed. We celebrated one lady’s birthday requesting from the restaurant manager a reserved table for 6 of us at a busy breakfast time. She truly surpassed expectations. We arrived to a beautifully decorated table, they played happy birthday and our friend was thrilled. Andreja one of the doormen is a sweetheart. He gave us a tour of the old ballroom, lighting up the gorgeous glass ceiling for us to see, did lots of photos by the Christmas tree of us all and treated us like royalty, helping with bags, getting coats on. We had a wonderful stay and this wonderful hotel. Thank you to all at The Grand Hotel, Krakow

Exceptional staff: All were so helpful and kind, but Cyprien stood out as one of the most exceptional reception staff I have ever had the pleasure to encounter. From someone who has stayed in hotels all over the world, he truly was wonderful and went over and above to help us on our visit to Krakow. Hotel is in a great position, being so close to everything and even the Chopin Concert, was only across the road. Thanks Cyprien, you really made our holiday .

I am just back from our stay at the Grande hotel, this was an excellent hotel with great facilities and wonderful staff. The breakfast was amazing. The porter couldn't do enough to help us and the reception staff were amazing. I would absolutely stay at this hotel again, also fantastic location 2 mins from the main square.

The receptionist had a personnal call and totaly ignore our presence. He did not even say a word to us. This establishment have 5 stars and it's innapropriate to have this kind of behavior. Moreover, I don't understand how you could have 5 stars with so much mistakes. No cleanliness tape on the top of the toilet. Two breaking glasses on the buffet for breakfast. The glass of the table between the armchairs room 53 is upside down. You don't even have a Cardex. And what could I say of the night staff ! Do they speak english ? We are really disapointed.

This hotel was marvelous. The rooms were immaculate, and the service was impeccable. Darius welcomed us to the hotel and was always available when we needed anything. He was the best and what a great employee for the Grand Hotel. He was a great representative for the Grand Hotel. Thank you Darius!
