This property is surrounded by excellent views, aside from people sleeping in their cars just outside the property. This hotel is in the industrial part of Hawaii so don’t expect to be near swimmable beaches. You get what you pay for, this was the cheapest hotel we could find on the island, so we didn’t expect anything fancy. It was clean and the staff was kind, we also enjoyed the games outside our room and views of the mountains. Shower was great. The bed wasn’t comfy and was small, with the flattest pillows we’ve ever seen. Like I mentioned, we can’t complain because you get what you pay for. It’s an old school hotel. Overall it gets the job done if you’re trying to save money.

Property is quiet and relaxing. Room was clean but mattress was bad, drawers were difficult to open and close. Breakfast was very minimal.

We alway stay at the Kauai Inn when on the island. It is tucked away in a neighborhood, within easy driving distance of Poipu and really close to the airport. Quiet (if you don't mind roosters) and not surrounded by touristy shops, but nearby is a great coffee shop and Nawiliwili town, where Duke's has great old photos on the walls and a white sand beach out front - no waves.

Short distance from a colony of homeless people living in derelict vehicles and a light industrial area/shipping port. Definitely not a tourist location. ATV's, motorcycles and pickup trucks up and down the street outside the inn during the night. Although the price was less than nearby name brand hotels, definitely not worth the cost. The picture on the website doesn't tell the whole story of where the place is located.
The only saving grace to this location was the helpfulness of the staff.

Staff was very friendly and the grounds were clean. Seems like we were to transported back in time before cookie cutter resorts and hotels... pleasant. We will definitely be back.

Good place to stay for the price but needs overall updates especially the bathroom…spacious room with beautiful views at the windows!Close to the airport as well and convenient to Walmart &target for basic needs…love the tiki torches at night!

The room was unclean when I checked in, the door was cracked can see through light. One side of the room the floor was full of sand. I was check in late that night have to tell the staff clean the room and change the liner the next morning. The front deck staff was great Thank you.
