We went to Juneau from Anchorage to help do some work on my Grandparents home. They set us up with the Juneau Hotel for 4 nights because house was under construction. We were pleasantly surprised because it was much more than a room. It was actually a two room suite with a full kitchen, including a refer and dishwasher, as well as a washer and dryer. Wow we wish we were staying longer because it was walking distance to down town and being on the water the wharf was right near by.
Having a full kitchen saved us on food expense.
The staff was also great. After checking out and waiting at my families home before going to the airport we received a phone call from the front desk at the hotel letting us know that we had forgotten a very expensive blue-tooth speaker in the room. Thanks you (I believe his name was Tom) we really appreciated the honesty.

Stayed during Snowmageddon, so hard to rate the property in terms of walkability, etc, but in better weather it is definitely walkable to grocery store or restaurants. But those are probably 1/2 mile to a mile away? Huge rooms, very full kitchens, etc. So comfortable. Only thing I noticed was regular horizontal blinds in the room which is find for 17 hours of darkness each day, but in the summer, you may prefer blackout curtains if you want to get more sleep.

Winter rate was way too high for what you received. Charges over $200/night when nobody was occupying the hotel. Thermostat was stuck on high the entire time, so we had to open the windows when we slept at night. Shower head had too much pressure and basically ripped my hair out of my scalp. Cable tv did not work 2 out of the 3 days we stayed there. Staff was very nice and the room was very clean!

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here because we were so atisfied with the accommodations. Its clean, the beds are comfortable and all appliances were clean and in working order. Its a great location, very close to downtown. I would stay again!!

The Juneau Hotel was amazing!! We had a very clean room with a washer and dryer!! We enjoyed our stay there. The staff was very helpful. I will tell my family and friends about this historical Hotel in Juneau.

Very clean and had everything we needed and then some. We didn't cook or do laundry but could have. The bed was very firm but I'd much rather have that than too soft. It was not close to restaurants however so we did a lot of walking.

We stayed at the Juneau Hotel the first and last nights of our trip and both times the suite we had was very nice, very clean and comfortable. The suite on our second stay was huge! A great value compared to average hotel prices in Juneau. It's an older building, but well kept. Minimal amenities, but if you don't need a pool, etc. it's a wonderful stay!
