Just stayed for one night. The hotel is better than I expected, good value for money I guess. Conveniently located by the train station as I arrived and departed with the train. They have a early check out time, but I had to leave at that time anyways so not affecting me this time.

I stayed for 2 nights in late August and found the staff to be very friendly. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is good too! The hotel is located near to the train station and within the small town there are cafes and a few good restaurants within a few minutes walk. The post office is very convenient too. There is some noise at night from teenagers.

I had left home a couple of hours before the instructions to access the hotel/room arrived. Had to phone the hotel contact to get the details. Once I had that it alll worked well. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was good

This is the only hotel in Geilenkirchen but it was excellent. Very clean, modern and friendly staff. Parking is with the blue card which the lady on reception ezplained or yiu ca park for free in the multistorey car park by the train station about a 2min walk away. Wifi was fast and free. Breakfast a good selection and you are surrounded by othee eating options. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends and family.

Very good Hotel, the problem is the Parking they don’t have one for the hotel. So every hours you have to get out and change your hours tickets.

Stayed just one night at the City Hotel as it is a favourite when working in the area. The rooms are spacious and clean, with many dining options in the area. Close to all public transportation. Parking in the public area next to the hotel is free betwen 1900-0800.
