We were in lodge as it was all that was available. I never dreamt that it would be soooo small! The card holder fell apart when we used it, the TV didn't work and we couldn't control the water temperature,( scalding hot). A bit more attention required for these rooms,(more like a superior youth hostel room,) The service within the hotel was excellent as was the breakfast. Pity.

The Lodge is in lovely location and a short walk to the main hotel. The Lodge is a more affordable option when staying at the hotel but the rooms are small with a maximum capacity for two but if you don’t mind the room size you’ll be happy with everything else about the room, there clean and serviced everyday and have a nice bathroom with fresh towels and toiletries provided daily. Staying at the Lodge gives you access to the main hotel for breakfast and dining and all other facilities, the main hotel is a beautiful hotel with friendly staff and great service, the breakfast is fantastic and the Lakeside restaurant is the perfect place to start you’re day. I would recommend staying at the Lodge just to experience the Harvey’s Point treatment.
