Read Hotel is a beautiful historic hotel. The lobby is classic and our Manor room was well appointed. We encountered two problems though. The front desk clerk was very short with us at checkin and seemed annoyed to answer our questions about valet parking. But, most importantly, our room was so very noisy at night. The walls are paper thin and we heard every conversation in the neighboring room. Also, the doors in our hallway closed with a loud bang every time a guest closed their door. It was one of the worst nights of sleep we have ever encountered in a hotel. At checkout the clerk did not greet us except to ask if we wanted our receipt printed or emailed. No “How was your stay?” was asked. We chose not to complain to her at checkout as she didn’t seemed concerned about us as guests.

Very lovely old, old hotel in downtown Chattanooga. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and both the food as well as service were excellent!

前台板著臉，門口代客泊車25一天，還要再另外加税。房間很大，熱水不夠熱，衞生間熱氣打不進多少，洗澡都不敢洗太久怕着涼。酒店本身不錯，很有歷史感，保養的也不錯。

Very beautiful property! Our check in experience was not great when we were checked in by the most unhelpful snotty young lady. But with the exception of that, the rest of our stay was amazing!

It was a unique and gorgeous hotel, we enjoyed all the decor and spaces to sit and enjoy the ambiance. The indoor pool was lovely, and the food in the restaurant was delicious. Service was excellent everywhere

Third stay at this hotel. Staff is always lovely and accommodating. Rooms are predictably clean and very nice. Bar in hotel has a wonderful ambiance and the chop house food is Devine. Also love the Starbucks in the Hotel. Makes the morning wake up easy. Would highly recommend.
