Traveling through Texas we needed to stop for a night so I made a quick reservation at the Towneplace Suites in Big Springs Texas. I am a Bonvoy Titanium member so when we checked in I asked if there were any upgrades available. Caleb at the front desk looked and sincerely apologized for the lack of any upgrade since they were full that night. After I thanked him for looking I said "it never hurts to ask :-). We went to our room and settled in. When we left to go to dinner there was a bag hanging on the door with snacks and a hand written note from Caleb thanking me for staying with them and again apologizing for no upgrades being available. He put in the note "I know this is not much, but I hope it brightens your day" IT DID! Kindness is rare and when dealing with the public can be even more elusive, but Caleb went out of his way and it brought a smile to my face. Thank you Caleb!!!! Oh, and they have an awesome bare onsite!
