Hilltop Tavern & Inn

Motel único en la cima de una colina que permitía entrada y registro sin contacto, lo cual fue apreciado. Instalaciones antiguas, ambiente de habitación austero, frío y poco atractivo. Parecía limpio pero el asiento del inodoro viejo necesitaba ser reemplazado. La tapa del inodoro ***** decía que estaba desinfectada, pero cuando se levantó la tapa, el asiento del inodoro estaba mojado. La ducha no es exactamente atractiva. Pocas comodidades. Sólo unos pocos co**** y toallas pequeñas y finas disponibles y una pastilla de jabón fuerte. Las luces no funcionaban tanto en el techo como en la lámpara de mesa, excepto en el baño, que tenía un ventilador muy ruidoso. Enviamos mensajes de texto sobre la luz y dijeron que había una lámpara de mesa y que habían enviado a alguien con una bombilla. Sin embargo, lo que encontramos es que las dos cadenas de la lámpara no funcionaban y las bombillas debían atornill**** para tener luz y desenrosc**** para apag****. ¿En realidad? Ni siquiera nos hubiéramos quedado si no hubiéramos estado increíblemente agotados y, afortunadamente, hubiéramos traído dos mantas que nos ayudaron a pasar la noche, de lo contrario nos habríamos sentido aún más miserables.

Me gusta mi cuarto. El aire acondicionado estaba bastante frío. perfecto para el desierto. Nevera, vajilla, cafetera, microondas, etc.

This place is very convenient when attending a concert next door on the weekends. The views are very nice. Check in is quirky. Luckily when I arrived at 2;30 pm the housekeeper was there. Just email or message the Inn, which I did not. Tell them you are arriving soon, they will give you your code to get in. There is no staff on the property to check you in. I loved that check in is at 2:00pm.

Walls were a little thin and next door folks were noisy. It is a beautiful setting.

We loved staying there. A quite getaway, quaint, clever design. Some people may not enjoy it as much as we did, because of the older condition, but we liked that about it. We loved the view and the out-of-the way location, but still close to everything we needed. Air conditioning was cold, but better that than not cold enough. We could wrap up if we needed to since we could not control the temperature in the room. That was fine with us. Noise from the other room came in through the overhead air conditioning vent, so privacy is something to consider if you don't want your neighbor to hear you or your TV. The price was one of the main reasons we chose this little gem. We hope to visit again. The staff was friendly and helpful. I appreciate whoever decorated with a special touch. We loved it there. Rustic, dusty road, chipped paint and all. Flies love it too, but that is all part of life and not much one can do about that.

Thin walls, a bit rundown, but overall a good place with a great view

This property is like a waiting room to heaven. So peaceful and serene. And the views are spectacular!! I truly hated to leave! The only thing missing was room service which is not available. Restaurants not far though. I was looking for peace and found serenity.

The room is super cute, perfect for a single person who needs alone time or couple. Has microwave & fridge, coffee plus some cups. Bed was cozy. Overall was clean and welcoming. There is also a patio to come outside and sit if you want. It’s super quiet outside. The place is hidden. Only negatives are it’s located on an unpaved road so you’re walking or driving in dirt. The bar / restaurant wasn’t open while I was there, maybe it’s only open during the week? So we had to get food elsewhere. But I’ll be back.
