No sé cómo dan las estrellas en Zanzibar, pero este hotel no se merece ni UNA ESTRELLA. La habitación que nos dieron estaba sucia, dos toallas de baño uno estaba usada, tuvimos que pedir cambiarla. No había toallas pequeñas. El aire acondicionado un ruido ensordecedor. Todo con aspecto de suciedad, el olor a humedad insoportable. La cama se tambaleaba , la mosquitera rota y dudo si el edredón que tenía la cama era usado, su color amarillento me hizo pensar, que si. En fin, un despropósito. Solo nos alojamos una noche y estábamos deseando que llegara la mañana para irnos. La verdad, un sitio como este desluce un viaje que hasta ese momento había resultado impecable. No lo recomiendo.

Fuimos a comer durante nuestra visita a Stone Town. ✅ Las visitas desde el mirador son bastante chulas. Dicen que desde allí se ve uno de los mejores atardeceres de la ciudad. ✅ Lugar con historia. ✅ Precio económico, puedes comer bien por unos 15€ por persona. ✅ Está lleno de turistas porque casi todos los guías paran allí para que se coma. ❌ Te cobran en chelines aún a sabiendas que todo el mundo paga en dólares, y cuando pides que cobren en dólares, te cobran de más. ❌ Baños sucios y poco cuidados

We had lunch here, but didn't stay at the hotel. Good food at a reasonable price, but the best part was the view. The restaurant is on the first floor, with views over the sea. We had pizza which was huge. I can eat, but this beat me and I ended up taking a few slices away in a box to have an hour or so later. To get to the restaurant, you'll have to walk through the hotel and ascend stairs. Keep you eyes open for the history of the building. The staff were attentive friendly and professional. Recommended.

Came here with a tour guide for lunch. As a result I wasn't expecting much. The view is incredible! Staff were attentive. The tour group chose a variety of dishes, steak, tandoori chicken, huge king prawns, pizza. I didn't have a huge appetite so went for a fresh fruit salad with vanilla ice cream. Food arrived when it was ready rather than all at once. Everyone was impressed and it wasn't expensive.

Great place for dinner on a rooftop. Really enjoyed the food, service and views while in Stonetown. Would stay there in the future. Prices and good variety were a welcome change and I thought the staff was very attentive. Hotel seemed to have an interesting history.

I stayed here for a few nights with my wife. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is in an amazing location and the building itself has a very interesting history. We did not eat at the hotel, other than breakfast and we were the only people there so they made it fresh each morning. The rooms were tired and in need of renovation. However, there was building works going on in the building which I would hope are going to extend to a revamping of the rooms and bathrooms.

We visit the restaurant for lunch and some drinks and didn't stay in the hotel itself. The view is amazing and the restaurant is clean and with a nice bar and some small tabels with cosy chairs. But the prices are higher and the food is not really good.

Great location overlooking the sea. Called in earlier to make a reservation and even got to pick my table! Very friendly, helpful staff. The menu was extensive and we really enjoyed both the food and the whole experience!

The most horrendous experience I have had in Zanzibar! The manager, some guy for India, wish I had got his name plus his manager local woman, were one of the most horrible people in not just Zanzibar but the entire world! Trying to make extra money of the guests and threatening bringing police and making you sleep in jail if their “demands” aren’t met!
