Person that checked us in and out was not very friendly. Seemed like we were bothering her.
King sized bed seemed more like a queen. Lighting in the room was horrible. Gave us four half sized pillows that were uncomfortable. Not even basic cable on a cheap TV. No free breakfast, had a "chef" there to make food but you had to pay for it. Just not impressed, will not stay a Aloft again

A perfect storm :-( Check in was fine but the room was just ok. No remote in room and I didn't want to be charged in case they thought I took it, so I tried to call front desk. Phone didn't work at all and there was no way to contact front desk, so I went down to ask for a remote. Got back to room to tuck in, found out door's "night lock" did not work and the metal bar at the top was broken off. I did NOT feel safe but I was so tired and needed to sleep so I tried to do so. But room smelled a little funny and the water was TERRIBLE, no way I could shower in that. Water smelled of sewage and sulphur. A/C blew both hot and cool alternately, so I couldn't get a good temp. Power station did not work so I could not charge my phone. Then the neighbors started slamming doors and running up and down the hallways. I guess they were high and crawling out of their skins because they literally slammed doors 15 times in 45 minutes. They also tried more than once to open MY door and the adjoining door between us. I couldn't call the front desk (no phone, remember??) and the whole thing just felt like a set up. I grabbed my things at 11:45 pm and checked out.

Smelled like animal urine. Was so loud in the lobby I was unable to sleep. Was told nothing could be done about the loud lobby music. Had to leave and was unable to get a refund. Stay elsewhere.

Toilet wouldn't flush properly. The desk attended only offered a plunger. Therefore we had to go downstairs to the lobby to use the bathroom. Also the spa and weight room was closed.

The room had some damage and dirtiness. The trash cans weren’t put back into place. The bathroom mirror door was broken. The room was next to an entire wing being renovated. My daughter worked a lock in overnight and it was difficult for her to sleep in the morning because table saws were going. I tried to turn up the tv but they were so loud. I like the modern design of the room!

There were apparently several rooms that flooded just doors down from my room.
No one from the hotel staff informed me of anything. I only found out after speaking with other guests at the hotel.
Sirens were going off for hours.
When the sirens and fire alarms finally stopped the next several days were filled with construction noises when workers were assumably trying to repair whatever caused the flooding.
Again, all this happened and not even a courtesy call from the hotel staff.
This all happened 2 doors down from where I was staying.
I’ve attached a couple photos, I wish I could submit videos to show how this all happened directly next to me and display how loud and disruptive the construction noise was.
All guests were moved to another floor or another hotel. -With the exception of me.
Terribly disappointed with the staff and over all stay at this hotel.

Given was either occupied or completely not clean I was horrified (apology was given)
Furniture was stained in foyer not acceptable

The room was beautifully laid out. The dim lights give the room a sexy vibe; great for couples. I would book this room again.
