I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Vanoro very much. The staff is super nice, the breakfast which you can have anytime during the day, was super delicious, my room was super comfortable. The location is perfect. I could book my room with discount and was upgraded so it was excellent value for money. I will definitely go back. Thank you eveyone in the hotel for this pleseant experience!

My wife and I spent three nights at the Vanoro on our first trip to Thessaloniki. The hotel is very well positioned and we walked almost everywhere we wanted to visit (the old town is quite a trek uphill so we took a taxi and came back on the 23 bus). The immediate surroundings a but rundown, but the ferry port and the waterfront are less than ten minutes away on foot. We arrived to a particularly warm welcome from Ilias on Reception and he really made the holiday work. I'd heard for years about the food scene in Thessaloniki, and he sent us to three really good restaurants in three nights, all fairly close to the hotel. When I told him how much I like the wines from a particular estate in Greece, it turned out that he comes from the area and got his father to bring us a bottle direct from the winery. The hotel is quite new, the decor very fresh and the design good (except that the bathrooms could do with more hanging facilities - there was nowhere to hang towels to dry). The only point I'd make is that there is just one communal area which acts as lounge, bar and restaurant all in one, so if you are hoping for a quiet drink you may find yourself surrounded by small children as you consume it. All the staff were really friendly and helpful, and really make the place. We'd certainly return.

5 minutes from the harbor promenade. in the heart of the city. Quality kitchen. Large and modern suites. Excellent service. Every request is answered quickly by the receptionists. Courteous trea**ent and beyond by all hotel employees. It's just a great hotel.

We were very pleased with our 5 night stay at the Vanoro hotel. Modern is not our usual taste but we couldn't fault the calm, comfortable lounge or the extensive and tasty menu for the all day a la carte breakfast. Our room was very quiet, an oasis in a busy city, comfortable and spacious. The best thing about the hotel, however is the excellent staff - welcoming, friendly, helpful, ready to go the extra mile to solve any problems/queries.

Overall, this was a memorable hotel stay due the high quality of the hotel and the superb service provided. On arrival we were very pleased to receive an upgrade to a junior suite. We also received one free voucher for a facial which was a delightful surprise for the other half. The hotel is situated around 10 minutes walk from the waterfront and the nightlife area with some great restaurants is close by. The front desk service was excellent and helped us book a day trip to Vergina for the following day. The room was spacious, very well sound proofed to external noise and very comfortable with a comfy bed. The bathroom was modern and a decent size. Breakfast was al a carte, which was a nice break from the usual buffet. The dishes, often with local ingredients were excellent.
