PROS: Muy limpio ¡Muy limpio personal muy amigable Situación: vista al mar desde el cuarto, tranquilo y relajado, lejos de todo el ruido y las multitudes de la zona principal del hotel Nice y muy limpio piscina Gran desayuno CONS: Parking: pequeñas plazas de estacionamiento de sólo 14 coches, de los cuales 3 son lugares de discapacidad. Hay 3 más plazas en frente de la puerta principal y si todo está lleno, tienes que estacionar en un lugar blanco/azul (de los cuales hay mucho) y pagar el estacionamiento de la ciudad de 25 NIS al día. La playa: tienen una zona bastante grande, sombría con camas de playa y sillas que es libre para los huéspedes, pero no hay supervisión de hotel y hay personas de otros hoteles que lo utilizan y puede ocuparse. También hay un centro de deslizamiento de kite cerca y cuando están activos si usted en el agua tiene miedo si usted recibe uno de esos enormes kites en su cabeza no terminará bien. En la noche, los chicos del lugar de la casa decidieron tener una fiesta bbq bajo la zona sombría del hotel y tenían una caja de boom con “musica” tan alto que tuvimos que ir a la piscina. Línea de abajo: volveremos. Disfrutamos de la estancia. Todas las cons arriba serán agradables si pueden arreglar, pero no eran un rompecabezas para nosotros.

In short hotel is fine... just fine... But those looking for a real review, there are highs and lows. Highs: The staff is friendly and they are everywhere, cleaning the pool, the buffet area and the rooms (our housekeeper on the 11th floor, I think his name was Mohamed, was amazing!!) The pool is big and towels are plentiful even when it is busy. Drink and food prices by the pool are reasonable for a resort. High but reasonable. There is a small convenience store just to the side of the hotel where you can buy cold drinks to take to the room. The AC works well, except when you are asleep and the motion detector clicks the AC off and you wake up sweating and need to wave your arms around for the AC to kick back on. Towels were fresh and clean. Lows: The food is just not good. It is pretty and plentiful but has no taste. (there were 2 items in 4 days that we loved. The spicy fish on Friday and the Bahn rolls with Asado on Saturday). Besides that everything needed salt and flavor. The ”chef” who cut the salad was super nice and made everything fresh. The hotel is old, old, old... Hot in the elevators, much of the old areas that used to be cool are closed down, even when it was packed. The floors are clean but look old. Rooms are again, old but clean. The buffet area, again, old and clean. You just can't keep the old and clean for 25 years, hotels need renovation. Check-in takes forever. Most people come in on Thursday or Sunday. Put another few people on the check-in for the busy hours... come on people...service!! Lifeguards - there are 3 that I saw but only 1 actually did anything. One of the guards was 100% sleeping while on duty. And one guard for 2 pools is never enough. All of it could be so much better if the food was good. We would even overlook the old rooms and public areas. But eating there breakfast and dinner for 3 days, we just felt that we had to leave on the forth night for dinner. Couldn't take the blah anymore. If you are looking for a great restaurant try La Cucina, just down the boardwalk. Oh - one more thing. We had 90+ people in our group and the hotel wouldn't set us all up in one area for Shabbat dinner on Friday. So much of the benefit of being together is doing Shabbat together. What's the big deal? You have a company paying so much to bring their people and you can't find us a corner to reserve for one evening? That's just bad business. For that reason, more than anything else, we will not return to Herods. if a company doesn't want our business we will take it elsewhere.

Me quedé en el hotel entre 17.5 y 21.5. El hotel es obsoleto, la sala de cenas es razonable y la piscina es estándar. Sin embargo, el servicio al cliente es muy pobre. Reservamos una habitación para 2 personas, llegaron dos colaboradores, tuvimos una habitación con una cama doble. Nos dijeron que llamaríamos al servicio de habitaciones y que vinieron y dividieran las camas. Nosotros llamamos, el tipo que llegó dijo que las camas no pueden cambiar porque la base no lo permite en la habitación y si quieres puedes arreglar la cama de sofá como cama - en el mismo espíritu recomendó llamar a la recepción para cambiar nuestra habitación. Fui a la recepción, mencioné la situación, el secretario no podía ayudar y me dirigió al gerente del hotel. Sólo me gritó que no debía venir a ella ni contactarla, La habitación es muy buena, pero no es muy buena. Llamaba al servicio al cliente, dijo que no pagaba menos que cualquier huésped en el hotel, ¿por qué uno de nosotros dormiría en un sofá?? El empleado me dijo que no tenía nada que hacer, le pedí a un jefe que regresara a mí. A la hora de la fiesta, me quedaré en la cama con dos adultos, uno en la cama y otro en un sofá (que no podía abrirse!) para unas vacaciones completas. Otro punto, también puedes llegar- Sala con vistas a los cojines de la garrafa y una llamada de despertamiento a las 7:00 con un camión que viene para evacuarlos.

El hotel es un hotel decente y está situado en una zona buena y todas las principales zonas de Eilat están a disposición, con tiendas y restaurantes muy cerca de la distancia de paseo del hotel.
