In the heart of Tamarindo, close enough to the action but in nature. The salt water pool feels really good on skin compared to chlorine, and the pool is long enough that one can actually get some exercise swimming in. The bed is comfortable. The air conditioner in the room is nice and quiet and is so quick that we are able to shut the AC off all day while we are away to conserve energy (we did this voluntarily; we were not asked to shut the AC off). Resident monkeys, wild monkeys, stop in and are in the bushes and trees right around you! We loved the fact that our aluminum cans and plastic bottles are taken specifically for recycling, not mixed in with general refuse. Environmentalists will enjoy this place, including which soap they provide and how they use water a second time to water plants. There is a nice screen on the sliding door in case you don't want the AC on and want the sliding door wide open with the screen closed. The wifi is plenty fast, allowing us to work from the hotel. Extremely conveniently located to Vindi, a supermarket that has anything you want to eat and drink. Amazing fan palm at pool and comfortable lounge chairs at pool. Your belongings are secure and safe in your room in part because there is a night watchman awake and checking the grounds constantly. The water is hot enough and there is good enough water pressure. We don't see a sign out front saying "Nahua" or "Hotel Nahua" or "Casa Nahua" and we don't know why.. must be a great place if you don't even need a sign! There is some sound from all the fun going on in Tamarindo but you would find this same sound at any location this conveniently located; we just use earplugs if we go to bed early. So very close to the beach and the restaurants of downtown Tamarindo
