Spacious room with sitting area in room. Extra sitting in balcony. Kettle available with sweets, tea and coffee. Comfortable . Good breakfast love the freshly squeezed orange juice. Easy and secure parking outside hotel front..

Rooms are dated and dingy. Also smelled a bit musty. Bed was clean. Staff were very friendly.

I liked the people. The hotel was clean and presentable. Sparta is a city of people who are striving to be the best that they can. Many places don't have the economic means to be more appealing to the eye. But everyone there was kind and helpful.

Everything was good, except couldn't connect to the free Wi Fi. Bed comfy.

Staff went over and above helping me plan my day and recommending very good restaurants. Top it off with a sense of humor - their Wi-Fi was sparta_300

There are only 2 main streets in Sparta and this hotel is on one of them. It's about a mile from the main bus station (18 minute walk?). It's an older hotel and the photos they posted with the nice lighting at Christmas are not correct. They don't have the lights on during the day, so it doesn't look that nice when you're there in the daytime. It reminds me of a 70s office building converted into a hotel. The rooms need updating. The wifi sucks! They need more powerful boosters. The breakfast, if they decide to serve a buffet (I don't know what the determining factors are), looked decent. I got a room with 2 single cots in it, and the beds were firm and supportive, which I like. The customer service at the front desk was polite and respectful. There's a front patio with chairs facing the street. I think most rooms have a balcony, but not all have chairs. There's a mini fridge and a safe in the room. The overall location is ok, but a slight .3 of a mile walk to most restaurants, grocery stores, and bars. No pool, parking possibly on the main street.

the location is very good but the room should be renovated
