Le Saint Denis

As a travel consultant I have been traveling and staying in hotels but was very disappointed with the service at Radisson Reunion Saint Denis ! There is no bellboy to carry luggage so you carry your own luggage ,there are stairs before you reach the reception counter , there were older guest who was struggling with their luggage. Breakfast absolute nightmare for 22euro per person you can easily see the hotel is cutting cost absolutely nothing on the buffet, no fruits , no oatmeal, no boil egg , no , we ask the lady why there is no fruits she said the fruit seller never comes, no option for vegan, no soymilk ! Breakfast absolutely cheap not even worth 2euro. We stayed in Saint Alexis Boucan Canot it was way much better than Radisson

Upon check in ,Luca and team was just awesome. room is well maintained, and been done daily. thanks the the young lady and young men doing doing a great job on the first floor. Management Team- very welled organized. F&B-The service is just excellent and very professional. Thanks to Thierry,, Nathie,Sheila,Jowelle and all the staffs. Front office- very welcoming and helpful. Nathalie,Luca, Miriam thanks for the professionalism. Hsk - Thank to the entire team. Chef Nicolas and team are providing the finest food around the island. To the Genaral Manager , you have a great team. keep it up . WILL SURELY RECOMMEND THIS RESORT .

Excellent hotel Excellent staff Clean rooms Only please beware of parking as after 7 parking is very difficult to find Front staff were excellent and accomodating Room wete cleaned daily and were spotless Only please add a bin in the room in addition to the bathroom bin Excellent stay

An excellent sopt for leisure and recreation in St Denis. We had an excellent stay, very professional and personal staff, always avaialble to assist. Did a grreat job, following a cyclone, well done! I rate this hotel highly!

The hotel location is very good, can easy go to town for me to buy everythings, the room its clean and quite, thats good. The hotel is big and all facilities its ok but the swimming pool not very clean, must follow it. The hotel food its nice can have much different kinds of food to choose, when i come back to Reunion next time i will join and stay in this hotel again, thanks or every staffs,many thanks🙏🙏🙏

I recently had a disappointing encounter with the restaurant manager, Leonardo, during my stay at Radisson St Denis, La Réunion. I requested an empty wine glass from his staff, who kindly provided it after completing some paperwork, which I understood to be a hotel procedure. However, my experience took a turn when Leonardo abruptly snatched the glass from my hand, asserting that I couldn’t take it to my room. Despite explaining that his own staff had given me the glass, he rudely insisted on replacing it with a plastic one, emphasizing it was part of their procedure. His tone and manner were highly disrespectful, leaving me questioning the way he handles customers. I attempted to address my concerns with the hotel’s director but was unsuccessful in reaching them. This incident has left me dissatisfied with the level of customer service and raises questions about the professionalism displayed by Leonardo. I hope this feedback contributes to improving customer experiences at Radisson St Denis.

Some areas and features of hotel wonderful. Breakfast great pool very nice. No parking or room service though advertised. No milk in mini fridge. Staff a mix of very helpful or like you’re annoying them

The property is new and beautifully redone. It is perfectly situated between the town and the sea. There was a lovely young gentleman at the front desk who greeted us with a smile; he was knowledgeable, helpful and incredibly personable. Don’t miss the markets, wonderful shopping street and family run Le Bo Bun restaurant for delicious lunch plus a pint at Cafe Edouard.

Our room, upon checkin was a mess! We only had scalding hot water in the shower & sink. The front desk fix was to go and shower in a room near the front desk, not an option! Disturbingly enough, other than changing our rooms, they did not make any amends for the inefficiency, no partial refund, no upgrade, nothing! Another issue was the TV kept turning on, on its own. The blame was placed on Samsung, but the property, we were told had been open for at least 1 month, so kinks should be worked out. Also, the air conditioning did not work in our original room. The front desk staff were hospitable, but never once did the manager approach us to apologize or offer any sort of credit. The breakfast buffet was good. The coconut punch was excellent. IF you ever ask the reception desk to book you a taxi, remember 2 things: Ask the cost - a ride to the hermitage beach cost us €145! (One way!) If the front desk is training a new hire or answering phone calls & is not attentive to your checkout & your taxi is booked for precisely 09:00 & your checkout is delayed, no fault of your own...please be aware, the taxi starts charging you to wait! Also far too much smoking, they should have specific, designated areas!
