St Albans City Centre

Si el huésped no avisa a la recepción, el personal del hotel no entrará a la habitación para limpiar y ordenar. Estoy totalmente de acuerdo con este enfoque, que es respetuoso con el medio ambiente y no interfiere con la vida diaria de los huéspedes.

La habitación estaba limpia y bien presentada. El registro se hizo más difícil ya que la pantalla no funcionaba ni para nosotros ni para los demás, lo que significó esperar a que una recepcionista atendiera el escritorio. Ella fue educada y eficiente. El desayuno estuvo bueno. El estacionamiento era limitado y pagamos por estacionar en una calle cercana. Esto resultó ser más barato que el aparcamiento de varios pisos, incluso cuando se aplicó el descuento. En general estuvimos satisfechos con nuestra estancia de dos noches en St Albans. Este fue el cuarto hotel en el que nos alojamos y sin duda fue el mejor del grupo.

Si bien sus términos y condiciones establecen que las reservas se pueden modificar, sus sistemas anticuados no le permiten hacerlo en línea. Y cuando intenta llamarlos, las opciones 2 y 3 nunca obtienen respuesta. Tienes que seleccionar la opción 1 (hacer una nueva reserva), y solo entonces alguien se molestará en atender la llamada.

Great location in St.Albans. Comfortable bed, quiet rooms despite the proximity to the centre and always friendly staff who are very helpful

We had a minor issue with the fan in the bathroom which was speedily resolved by the manager. Service at breakfast was outstanding.

Very clean hotel Nabil was very welcoming, breakfast was lovely and hot. Martina was very friendly. Hotel was very well presented, easy to find in a great location. Rooms were very clean and beds were very comfortable best nights sleep I've had in a while.

The bar man nabil went out of his way to make me so welcome and at home and for a scottish guy in england it was quite overwhelming. Nabil was working the bar and reception and was cooking in the kitchen and i didnt know he was doing all 3 untill david said he did all 3 from the start of his shift till the end and even came at sat me with me for over 10minutes what a op notch guy who couldnt do more for me if he tried. The manager david was a top notch guy who recognised how much nabil went out of his way to make me feel at home so big respect for nabil and david. If you have the chance to stay at the Premier inn st albans city centre i highly recommend stay here because the staff are 100% genuinely nice people who obviously take there jobs very serious i will definitely come back here

Rooms opposite a nightclub so no sleep til after 3:30am. Staff said although they new about the problem the good night guarantee was not applicable as it was outside the building???? IF BOOKING INSIST THAT NO ROOMS ARE OPPOSITE CLUB VEEDA

We arrived on Friday night and there was a nightclub opposite playing thumping music. We had already asked for a quiet room by email. The only one available that didn't get the beats through the walls was at the other side of the hotel. Upon entry, we immediately smelled stale smoke. It was impossible to open the window (the receptionist told us it had been sealed shut). He tried to deoderise the room but the smell never went away during our stay. The furniture looked dated. There was only one chair, despite us asking for a family room, so my daughter sat on the floor, giving her a good view of the underside of the bed. She noticed peanuts beneath. Clearly the room had not been cleaned to a good standard. Wifi is temperamental. It kept throwing us out and we had to reconnect. Other really important facts: It is impossible to contact St. Albans City hotel by phone. I spent one week trying. Eventually I waited for 20 minutes on a central line. They gave me the St. Albans email address. I wrote but didn't get a response for 4 days. I find it very poor that you cannot have direct contact and this will definitely affect my choice of hotel next time. On the upside, the staff were exceptionally friendly and trying to do their best within their limitations. Special thanks to Hameed. He went out of his way to try and find another room and make us feel more comfortable. Although in the end, we stayed because it was the quietest
