A clean, pleasant place. Friendly, professional staff, excellent amenities, walking distance to several restaurants, & shuttles to Mayo. I recommend this to anyone seeking safe, very affordable lodging & friendly, helpful staff. A wonderful stay!

Price was different than shown online. A bit older hotel. Needs updating for the price they charge. Rooms are fine. Small bathroom counter. Stayed is a jetted tub suite, tub is like 3 feet off the ground. Was in town for an appt at Mayo, wife has some health limitations, no way she was getting in or out of this tub.

Great hotel. Friendly and caring front desk folks. Rooms are huge with nice bed. Shuttle to Mayo was an added bonus. BBQ restaurant attached, which was nice and convenient. Will return on our next visit to the Mayo.

The bathroom had no place to hang your robe after a shower, didn't have any wash clothes, the breakfast was terrible! We've stayed here 7 times before and had no issues, they must have new mangt. taking over, never again!!

I called the guesthouse two times looking for my medical ********* that was in a zipper locking case. First time they said they look for it. I called again this evening and told them that it was missing before I left that day, so either somebody went in my room, when I was at the pool for 20 minutes the night I arrived that would of been the 31st. The only other time I left the room is that morning to go to appoin**ents all day. It really looking like person that go in and do daily cleaning and garbages! No offers of extra help like cameras to see if they see anything. They will just let the manager know! All my stuff was on my bed and there is wood under the bed so it couldn’t have went under. It just gone!😡 the carpets were nasty swimming pool or sona looked clean. The nasty smell on the towel made my hair smell musty nasty gross all day. Won’t be back there someone has something that don’t belong to them. When this happens you suppose to report it and that’s what I did. Let them know every thing I did that day and the hours I was gone from the motel! Won’t stay ther ever again!

The staff is very accommodating as they always have been, even before their new management took over. Unlike most hotels if you need, say a plate or plastic utensils at 9pm you can go grab them in their breakfast area. They do take breakfast foods away at 10am. But, you can get what you need to eat in your room at other times. The only issue we have had is other guests not following rules. Like your children, under 16, must he accompanied by an adult at the pool. And, please don't teach your children that hotel staff is their to pick up everything after your messy kids. There are many signs stating no food or drink. Yet, food, mess, 20 plus towels, towels thrown into the pools and deviant children in and out. That was unpleasant. The staff is constant about cleaning and picking up. Why make their job 10 times harder. Anyways l, minus other guests the hotel and staff are great.

The rooms are clean and the staff is pleasant. They were very accommodating when we had to extend our stay a few times due to Mayo appoin**ents. The downside is all the noise! Most nights I heard more than one dog barking down the hall. I could clearly hear the neighboring room's tv and conversations, as the room had a door that is used for adjoining rooms. Children running up and down the hallway. The outside door slamming shut at all times of the night. Bring earplugs if you actually want to sleep here.

I had to walk full length of hotel to get to the elevator up to 3 then walk Down the other length of hallway to find my door was blocked from the inside. I called to have someone come help I was told he would get a tool and be right up. 30 minutes later I called back down to the desk and was told she would be right up. 30 minutes later Person in the next room tried to open her door, key didn’t work she walked down got someone. I was finally let into my room. I am handicapped and was shocked to find I was put in a room so far away. I was also told the pool was not open. If the amenities are not open why are we paying full price.

We were looking for a late one-night stay on the 25th with an early morning departure on the 26th and we already had dinner plans, so we wanted an economical place to simply overnight. The GuestHouse filled the bill economically and efficiently. It is conveniently located to the main highways and close to Mayo with great shuttle services. It is tucked away so be sure to use a navigation aid. There is an attached Famous Daves restaurant and an adjacent coffee shop. There was snack and pop vending machines available all night and the hotel offers a spare continental breakfast. It sufficed. Check in was quick, efficient and friendly. The registrar registering us was extremely helpful and kind-hearted. She scanned and emailed some important documents for us and seemed very conscientious. We did not use the pool facilities, but they seemed clean, nice and large enough for a good swim and relaxation in the tub. Accessible hours was generous. We also noted that they kept the grounds and facility up nicely, though an older building. Our room itself had all the necessities, including a fridge, micro and closet. Furnishings were spare, but we were able to get a King-sized bed with no smoking, which is our preference. The mattress was nearing its end of life but was still comfortable enough. The room was clean, quiet and they provided a coffee pot. We enjoyed their coffee. There were only two towels and cloths, which met our minimal bath needs on a short stay but the ready availability of a spare or two would be appreciated. Overall, we recommend for a short stay or economical travel. It has all the amenities for a traveler. It could use a facelift at some point, but it is in nice condition. I noted the cleanliness and good repair of the stairwells, which are often neglected, even at posh places.
