Orange Grove

Wow- what a find! If you are going to Robertson and need a place to stay -this is it! Situated just outside Robertson on a working farm, in the mountains, overlooking a big dam. The cottage that we hired was a 4 sleeper-2 huge bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms(delport) The cottage is so nicely decorated with everything you need and more! 3 indoor fireplaces and one undercover braai. A small splash pool on the verandah. The toilteries are amazing (1812 products)too. Before we arrived Elize from reception contacted us and sent us a pin, as well as a breakfast , picnic and braai basket which you can order. We unfortunately didn't order any as we were having meals at the wine farms and then brought our own food to braai. The items that you can select,though, look really nice. Our cottage was very seperate ,we could hardly see the other cottages. We loved our stay, extremely peaceful, and will definately be back.

What a wonderful place, a beautifully decorated cottage with incredible surroundings. I would recommend the waterfall tour where you get to swim in one of the mountain pools. Lovely walks all around the farm, with every angle a more majestic view than the last! We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much to ask.

Amazing cottage up on the hill with fust vines and valley in front of you, great interior decor and all the modern stuff you need and want but instantly feels like a slower pace of life. Great walks from the front door, and fantastic hosting with a super tasty and farm fresh breakfast and braii baskets!

Utterly magnificent setting, incredible lodging with everything you may possible need and a wonderful hostess tending to your every need. This is a dream getaway with something for everyone, pack your walking shoes, there is lots to explore!

We spent an amazing short stay in Orange Grove, the highlight of it being quality time with our family discovering the many walks in the vineyards with stunning views, trying out a typical braai, enjoying the breakfast baskets, warming up in front of the chimney and just being together in a wonderful setting. The staff was so warm and friendly. We’ll come again!

We were delighted to have stayed at this wonderful place with a private pool just for ourselves and plenty of room. The estate-owner and his wife were very sypathetic. This was our second stay at Orange Grove and it is the perfect place to relax and unwind. What remains with you is the quiet and peaceful a**osphere broken only by varied and wonderful birdsong. As always for us, the option of a memory foam mattress would make the hard beds more bearable. We do appreciate this is an individual thing. Additionally in our cottage, Buffelsbank, the bathrooms could do with shelves above the sinks, so much space but needs more thought on how to fill it. Notwithstanding we will be returning.

Nestled in an amphitheatre planted with fruit trees and vines, this place is serene, providing an opportunity to unwind. We braaied and they supplied everything, including the wine. They also do breakfast baskets.

We had a wonderful stay on that beautiful Orange Grove farm. A lovely house, nicely decorated and in the kitchen everything you might need. The surroundings quite, peaceful and with the opportunity to have a few different walks. A perfect stay with the braai- and breakfast baskets, yummi!
