Loved the nice people working there, the drink bar was amazing!! Thought it was great having people cleaning your room:) the wiew outside was AMAZING, loved all the greenery around the hotel (actually!!), the decoration outside and inside gave a great vibe!! Food tasted great :) I didn’t really like the first room I got, so It was great that I could switch to another room!! :D bad things: I wish we could order snacks, and only have one meal instead of 5 meals everytime we wanted to eat :) AMAZING HOTEL :D

I was disappionted with the hotel, was not a ☆☆☆☆, 3 at the most. It was called minimalist, but I will call it plain. No colors in the rom except for curtains, no picktures, simple furnitures. Poor lighting and no aircon. Hallways rundown and dirty. Bar/reception-area was noisy as it was all concrete. Indoor pool with a lot of sand and growth around the edges. Outdoor pool rundown and sandy. And they were destroying the thalassio across the street, so 10-11 hours a day there was noicy concrete demolition. All included food was rather boring and tasteless. And a little far from supermarket and city center.

Very dirty hotel, the indoor pool had black mold growing on the floor/walls, the bathroom and floors were not cleaned in our room. The food at the outdoor pool area had mold on the cheese, and ants in our sandwich. Do not look like the pictures. Positive: the receptionists were really nice and helpful.

Good Hotel with very friendly and welcoming Staff. They offered us a free room upgrade to a suite that it was much appreciated. The suite was super spacious, with 2 separate bedrooms and 2x balconies with amazing sea views. We highly recommend booking a suite type of room (main building). The food is good and varied. However, some of the food was not identified especially at the Dunas Restaurant so it was difficult to understand what was it and contained (might be a problem for people with allergies/intolerances). Note: Majority of the food is bland and it will be required salt to be added separately if you like flavoured food. The drinks were okay, not much selection of cocktails unless if you go AI Plus. However, I would suggest to be served in reusable plastic cups like other Hotels instead of paper cups that stay all “mushy” after a while (still helps the planet considering it’s reusable). The Hotel has direct access to the beach (which is beautiful!) and has a beach bar (but not included for AI customers, only AI Plus). Also has sun lounges and parasols but needs to be paid extra. The Hotel has plenty of activities during the day & nice shows at night. The Animation Team is amazing and we had always a good time with them! Without the Animation Team the Hotel would be just average. They are really the light of this Hotel! We would just kindly suggest that during the activities they ensure that there is always someone that speaks portuguese (a few times it was only spoken italian - nothing against the language, it is a beautiful language, but sometimes was hard to understand everything and follow the instructions, thus fully enjoy the activities). Apart of portuguese, I would also suggest to be spoken english considering it is the universal language and more people would understand and engage in the activities. Apart of that we highly praise the animation team and their activities throughout the day & night. The Spa was good however they only give 45min slots which was not sufficient to try everything at the water circuit (we suggest the time to be increased to 1h and/or reduce the number of people per slot). Note: You will need a swim cap, otherwise you will pay 4 euros for one. The Hotel surroundings are beautiful with well kept gardens. Overall: Nice Hotel that wins for its beachfront location, Staff and Animation Team!

Travelled to Porto Santo in April 2022. Stayed in the apartments, quite a walk from and to the main building where everything happens (Bars, restaurant, access to the beach and pools, Spa...etc.) not the distance but the steep stairs you have to climb. If i go back will seriously consider booking room in main building. The main restaurant is ok (went AI), they have a problem with shortage of staff (this happened shortly after the pandemic). never opened on time and caused huge lines of people before each meal, food is varied and the drinks are acceptable. The restaurant by the pool area is a good choice, we were lucky because we caught the exact week thy have the festival Rota do Atum with all meals cooked by well known invited chefs, every day and every meal a different gastronomic choice (you have to book in advance to guarantee a table). The bars have a selection of known brands on the AI, ok if your not a specialist drinker (cognacs, old whiskies or matured brandys, fancy cocktails, not included). The pool area is comfortable, the pool a bit outdated, the sea a bit rough this time of year with temperatures varying everyday (warm and the odd shower). Plenty entertainment for the kids during the day and the shows at night. Staff are overworked but still tried hard to give you a good service. Not a luxury hotel but very acceptable for a weeks rest.

Best all inclusive hotel. Great food and drinks, good staff and good pool areas. At the hotel there was a good mix of different people, couples, families and retirees. I will say at the hotel is perfect for families. There is alot of entertainment for the kids. Kids Club in the the daytime and almost every night kids disco, the kids staff is doing a great job to make sure the kids and their parents have a great time. Best things Great rooms with balcony Pool inside and outside and the most amazing beach very close. Kids entertainment Spa - there may be costs depending on which all inclusive you buy Sunbeds by the beach - If you don’t have all inclusive Plus there is costs for renting. Minus It is only possible for the children to get ice cream when the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner I would recommend you to buy all inclusive plus if possible. When you have plus, sunbeds are free and you are always guaranteed a sunbed, you can choose which spirits you want, you have up to 3 free visits to the spa and you have free transport to the city.
