Perfect place for us to use as a base for visiting family in Portage. We especially like the very well maintained pool.

I have to recommend this Super8 for the staff
Ben in particular was amazing. Very personable and gave the best service.
The only thing that could be better was the breakfast food.

Sadly the water slide was unavailable and the pool was cold but orherwise ...-We always stay here on our damily trips.

Because we travel with dogs, we usually eat in our room. We didn’t want to drink our wine from paper cups so I went to front desk and the wonderful young man there took me into the breakfast room and got me glass wine glasses!
Breakfast was mediocre and the property around the hotel had huge gopher holes which made walking dogs tricky!

Clean room with lots of space, friendly staff. We arrived very late in the evening and front desk personal was very accommodating, we needed to sleep so we missed breakfast, it would be nice if the breakfast hours were a little longer so you could sleep in a bit. Definitely would stay here again.

Staff were pleasant but the outside of the hotel requires some updating as does some of the interior. The rooms have been refreshed. The breakfast area was very small and congested. Not welcoming and too many people crowded into a small space. Only one staff person working front desk and breakfast area. Need more staff.
The outside needs grooming if the lawn and signage needs refreshing also.
