The Tsala Hotel is close to Plettenberg, in a gated property. This means it is safe to walk around the hotel. Each room is « in the trees » , very private, very nicely decorated : a living, a balcony, a bedroom, big bathroom (shower and bathtub), outdoor shower, a private plunge pool and a terrace. You won’t be disappointed ! The mini bar is complimentary. There is a small gym and yoga room at the Hunters, next door, about 5’ away from the Tsala, on the same property. The breakfast buffet is rather small, but the food is fresh and of quality, there is an a la carte menu as well for cold and hot dishes. In the evening we loved the Tsala restaurant: everything from the service to the food was great. The staff is so nice, professional and friendly ! We really enjoyed our time there and wish we had stayed another night !!! A bubble of tranquility !!

Just outside Plettenberg, Tsala is a stunning woodland alternative to the coast. Private tree houses have a sun deck, with plunge pool and a lovely open plan bedroom and sitting room, with a balcony overlooking the forest. Food and beverage excellent (there are not many alternatives within walking distance). Not the cheapest hotel in the area by any means, but for a bit of luxury, well worth the upgrade.

Thank you for another memorable birthday lunch. The friendly and professional service from the entire team was most appreciated. The meal was delicious and the plates so beautifully decorated - all in all as good as we remember. This restaurant is our favourite in Plett for special occasions and we were made to feel so welcome.

What a fabulous experience. Find it hard to find enough adjectives to do tsala justice.5 star luxury experience - would thoroughly recommend. Staff are first class, food excellent - accomodation so tasteful. Will definitely return to tsala, hopefully in the near future - thank you.

The accommodation, staff, service, selection and total experience is second to none. The rooms are magnificent and nothing is too much to ask for. Any request is greeting with a smile. We would love to go back again.

Stayed here for a few nights to mark the end of our tour in the area. Absolutely fantastic. From the moment you arrive you realise that this is everything you could imagine. We stayed in room two and I can honestly say one of the best nights sleep ever. The room is very spacious with many little additions that make the stay much more enjoyable. The out door plunge pool is perfect to cool off in and the out door shower magical. The staff are very friendly and informative. The whole stay here was perfect and we will defo return.

Hidden in the forest and close to the beautiful coast of Plettenberg, we enjoyed a very relaxing time in a wonderfully decorated treetop chalet. The chalet is very spacious and provides an open fire place, a veranda with view over huge trees snd a little plunge pool.

You know when you come to the place doubting but when you get there you felt at home I really was taken care off they made me felt comfy and felt the love I never had you are so amazing from the staff to the meals that delicious thank you❤️

Staying in Tsala Lodge was truly an incredible experience. The staff were amazing - professional and friendly. They made us feel at home. The room was comfortable and spacious with everything we needed and the views were breathtaking. The food was delicious both at breakfast and dinner. We were only there for 2 days and would have loved to stay longer. I got quite emotional when we left but we will be back!
