Parklane Hotel

We've been to the Parklane Hotel ten times now. However, nothing is the same. Supervisor Mr. Harsha sir, housekeeping Kumarswamy, and his team are very helpful. Hats off to them, as they are trying to make the guests happy even though infrastructure sometimes does not permit that. The ***agement is clueless. Only rooms are allotted; since my reservations were made through Goibibo, we could not use 2 of the 3 park view rooms due to the AC not working. Refunds are never permitted during check in as we were not happy with the room. Me, wife, father, In-laws had to sleep on the floor with kids in the first night, and the next day, two different rooms were provided. Mr. Harsha sir was kind enough to convince ***agement to get a Rs 2000 refund as a token of apology (~10%) of the total booking amount for our bitter experience. Even if one calls them in advance and requests any specific things during check-in, like room preference, the same is not entertained. A magnificent hotel may have lost everything as a result of neglect. Attitude is good, but only when accompanied by quality. Please take money, but deliver quality. I miss my old Parklane and the old people here, whom I met nine times. Please avoid the 2nd floor room, even if given for free. Please check that the AC, hot water, bathroom equipment, and accessories are working fine before checking in. Please visit their sister concern, Rooftop open-air revolving restaurant High Park, which is awesome. Thank you, Harsha sir, and Kumar swamy sir, for trying to improve our experience with limited capacity.

This is the third time I’ve stayed here. I love this hotel; it is truly one of a kind in terms of its eccentricities (witness the ***y rules, regulations, aphorisms and pieces of sage advice offered within the food menus, rooms and at various points throughout the place!). The ‘deluxe’ room I stayed in was a bit tired, but it was a very good size, had plenty of power points, a fridge, large bed, TV, built in writing desk and plenty of storage space. The good-natured and efficient, helpful staff is another good feature, as is its central location. There is a pleasant restaurant bar on site with nice (rather pricey) food and alcoholic drinks. The hotel is good value for money overall.

I had been to the restaurant in parkland, it is having a bar within , I was surprised to know when you order your drink like I ordered a beer they are not providing anything to munch on with your drink , no side bites Generally it is a common practice to provide complimentary small tidbits with your drink I Certainly not recommend this to anyone

This hotel is located very close to Mysuru railway station. It is a budget hotel with no frills. What I really liked about this place is the helpfulness of the staff and the visual indications on every room. They seem to have good systems in place. For instance I wanted to keep my bag for sometime after check out and they put that in a locker. When I came back, they got it even before I could ask. The switches in the room all have clear indications (unlike some hotels where you need to switch on/off one by one). Lot of thinking has gone in. Moment you remove the key from the slot, a light glows on top of the door to guide you. Everywhere you have clear instructions pasted. You may not need to ask anyone. Good place to stay.

We only stopped by for drinks and food during a visit to Mysore Palace, but loved the quirkiness of this hotel. The staff were excellent and there was a great atmosphere about the place. I needed to charge my phone and as soon as the waiter saw this, a long adapter appeared without me even asking, Due to time constraints, our food was made into take away's, but this was no problem for the staff here. If you're visiting Mysuru, this place is definitely worth a visit, but take note of the warning on the drinks menu!

On arrival they refused to give an extra bed. ***y amenities are dated and not working including the TV. The rooms are small and congested and while the stay was expensive all food was chargeable without even a complimentary breakfast. ***y amenities does not work properly. There is no room service. Food feels artificial.Overall there is a huge room for development.

Das Hotel hat eine super Lage, schönes Restaurant mit guter Küche und schöner Dachterassenpool zum Abschalten vor der Hektik. Das Personal im Restaurant ist leider nur teilweise freundlch. Die Zimmer und hier ganz besonders das Bad müsste *** vor Neubezug eines neuen Gastes wirklich mal putzen. Im Spiegel kann *** sich fast nicht erkennen und die Betten und das Zimmer werden auch erst nach 3 Tagen auf mehrfaches nachfragen mal gemacht. Sehr schade für dieses eigentlich ansprechende Hotel in toller Lage.

Petit hôtel original. Très bien situé pour visiter le palais et le marché. Bonne literie, bon restaurant sur place avec une agréable terrasse couverte. Petite piscine sur le toit, propre et fraîche. Un peu de bruit le soir avec le restaurant mais j'avais une chambre au dernier étage et ça ne m'a pas dérangé. La rue est calme la nuit et il n'y a pas de bruit. Les chambres sont mieux que sur les photos. La salle de bain est un peu vieillissante mais pour une où deux nuits c'est très bien. Très bon rapport qualité prix (37€) . Ne pas hésiter.
