Got to the hotel about noon and my room wasn’t ready so I told them I was going to be back, gentlemen working was very nice. I got back to the hotel at 7 o’clock, gave them my name and they told me they didn’t have any rooms and they tried calling my email. Not even kidding. I had booked a pay at the hotel on *******. No one from the hotel emailed or called me. No one from ******* did either. Turns out I found out they were so oversold, they gave away my room. Told me it was my fault. Said they tried running my card which I showed them they didn’t even have a card because it was a pay at the hotel and I came to check in, they pulled up my room, confirmed it was there but not ready. I said if I booked the hotel as a pay at the hotel, why would you run a card. That’s the whole pay at the hotel, deal… they said well, we ran a card that was on file with *******. Again, is it pay at the hotel, or is it pay at the hotel unless we decide different? Went up to a friends room to try to get another room somewhere else and when I came back down they didn’t know we could hear them bad mouthing us, and then the manager/owner kept verbally attacking me telling me how it’s done. The bottom line is I booked a room on ******* that was pay at the hotel. I got to the hotel, they knew I was coming back. They were extremely rude and handle that terribly. Not even a suggestion of elsewhere to try. Just tough. Hope Karma gets you 2 slime ball liars.
