This was our first safari and based on what we saw and experienced I really don’t see how this trip could ever be topped.

Entire staff was accomidating to our preferences and needs. Trip of a lifetime. Awesome animal sightings and informative guide and tracker who were very informative and focused on meeting our needs and wishes as far as which animals we were interested in seeing the most. We highly recommend this Safari adventure.

A stunningly beautiful and impressive lodge in one of the best parts of the Greater Kruger. Bird life is amazing, wildlife sightings are really good and because of few lodges in the area, the experience is intimate and not crowded. The lodge experience is absolute luxury and staff members are wonderful.

I couldn’t have greater things to say about our trip to tinswalo lodge in south africa. My wife and I went for our honeymoon and our expectations were far exceeded in every aspect. The rooms were cleaned daily and were spacious, the game drives were incredible and the staff was attentive and informative with whatever help we might need. Dan, Pardon, and Tamsyn made our honeymoon one that we will cherish for our lifetimes. Thank you again Tinswalo Lodge!

I can't say enough good things about Tintswalo. We stayed for four nights. The game drives were fantastic. Our guide and tracker were able to find so many of the animals we were hoping to see. They were knowledgeable and fun to be with. Their love for the bush and the animals was obvious. The lodge was beautiful. The food was amazing. The service was outstanding - there were so many personal touches. We had the same guide, tracker, waiter and host throughout our stay, so they really got to know us and what we were looking for. Sometimes it felt like they were reading our minds.

so, guys 1st of all i m pretty sure the lodge itself is amazing, stay with them. it seems to be a nice place. but this goes to customers of this lodge: behave on game drives. you have NOT the right to harass other guests in other cars on a sighting. you have NO right to yell drunk trough the whole bush. you have NO RIGHT to yell at people in other game drive cars. you hav NO right to make stupid comments about them or whatever. its normal that you will see other cars from other lodges in a game reserve. we are respectful to each other. we tell each other about a sighting. we help each other. we are nice to each other. we give each other space on a sighting. we leave after a while, so, we make space for other cars. its not only about you. be respectful. i had a situation with the tintswalo that we were driving and their guests were yelling at guests and me in the car of our lodge and stuff like that. they were very rude. later i did see them on their evening stop drinking lots of alcohol. to the guides: please make sure your guests are not harassing other guests of other lodges on your game drives.

The experience at Tintswalo Safari Lodge exceeded out expectations. The game ranger and tracker were excellent in their explanations and experienced at finding the Big Five. The staff and facilities were outstanding. Food and drink were plentiful and excellent. I would have no reservations in going back again should the opportunity present itself.

after several days on a small boat on the Chobe River (to which all the animals came down to drink) we spent 3 or 4 nights at Tintswalo. There is a watering hole off the lodge deck and twice daily whole elephant families, only 10 feet away, would come to drink. Each couple or family slept in a separate lodge, each with its own shower and deck, and separated enough that one could not see or hear the next lodge. Morning breakfasts and dinners were bountiful and delicious, and each evening's jeep safari was interrupted by an impromptu stop for gin and tonic. The trekkers and guides were completely familiar with the animals: one evening our guide heard a nearby distress cry from a zebra. We were made to pile back into the jeeps and a 3 minute ride away came across a pride of lions tearing into the steaming body of a zebra; even as a large hippo watched the bloody feast for a few minutes before ambling away. Would I go again? in a heartbeat.

A truly GREAT safari experience! "Coming as guests and leaving as family"- what a great vision and totally true. We had booked the Manor house for 4 days and had the best team taken care of us; Wise, Pardon, Thandie, Pretty, Eden, Mo and gardener. Thank you team Tintswalo, you made our visit a life-time memory for the family. Everything was top-notch, from the safari experiences and the food to the written hand notes and "towel-animals" you put on all the beds everyday. We truly recommend this lodge!!
