A las 10:00, llegó al hotel y la señora en la recepción nos dijo que iba a hacer el Omra y regresara a buscar las habitaciones, soy un miembro de la Fairmont de oro que fue mal tratado. Regresamos a las 2:30 y notamos que las habitaciones no están listas y se les dijo que el cheque en el tiempo es 4PM, sin embargo, antes de un día de llegada me llamaron a preguntarme cuándo quiero que la habitación esté lista. Cada cliente me dirigía a otro donde esto no era práctica en absoluto, la imagen que estaba despertado más de 12 horas y al final del día cada uno sólo me tira. Después de una pelea, finalmente hemos llegado a las habitaciones, me da cuenta de que una de ellas está llena de insectos y la otra está ruidosa de los vecinos. La habitación es muy agradable, pero no es muy agradable. El único punto positivo fue que es pocos pasos hacia el Haram, más que que nada vale la pena, incluso cuando hablas con alguien del receptor que no responden como si no escuchas y en mi caso soy un miembro de oro más el nivel de consultor de viaje 6, ¿cómo si yo fuera un invitado normal lo que sucedería?

Todo fue muy bueno aparte de dos grandes cuestiones para nosotros: los tiempos de espera del ascensor que pueden llevar hasta 10-15 minutos para llegar desde arriba abajo/ viceversa en ascensores con aire acondicionado que a veces se vuelve muy sufocante. La segunda cuestión era el WiFi, que es extremadamente inconsistente y lento, esperado mucho mejor para el precio que pagamos. Además, nos alegramos de la habitación, la ubicación, las instalaciones y el personal que todos fueron muy útiles.

Umrah trip with family Mar 2023 Went there for Umra trip with family we were bit confused while booking this hotel since it is located a bit away from Haram (1.5kms), however, they have shuttle service with good reviews 1. Hotel is super nice, new and very clean. Checkin was super quick although we had two rooms and were given on seperate floors as they didnt had two rooms on the same floor. 2. Rooms were good clean and tidy on check-in. They provided all basic amenities like iron, iron board, safe, etc. However, the rooms service was an issue and i had to complain and ask the counter to get the room cleaned after requesting the staff for couple of time. 3. Shuttle service was superb. Evertime there is a shuttle standing at the enterence leaving in approx 20 to 30 mins. Drop off point is the bus station behind clock tower with hardly few minutes walk to the Haram. 4. Even if you use Taxi it usually charges 15 riyals during normal timings and max 20 riyals during rush hours. We mostly used taxi service which was also very convinient. 5. Hotel location is very peaceful, you can find few restaurants nearby and baqalas for basic requirements.

Muy buena hotel.. habitaciones son buenas y espaciosas. Kaaba vista es excelente del hotel. El desayuno fue absolutamente fantástico. Buena difusión con muchas opciones. Nos servimos con tanta atención y, en particular, el Sr. Ashraf fue muy útil y nos dio el millado extra y nos cuidó incluso los detalles del minuto, especialmente para mi madre. Eso es lo que usted llama hospitalidad. Mi calificación *****. Debemos tratar de que personas como Ashraf hagan la diferencia entre otras propiedades y esto.

This has been the worst experience and hotel I have ever been to. Me and my husband came to stay here as part of our umrah package deal. We arrived at the hotel and were sat waiting for over 3 hours due to complications with our booking which was primarily due to the fault of our travel agents. However, members of staff at the hotel were not willing to help the situation considering we had landed from a flight and it was now late evening. Whilst we were dealing with the situation of sorting out our booking a member of the booking office advised that we pay for a night ourselves on top of what we had already paid and that by the following day the situation would be sorted. The following morning we met with the service manager who we went to ask for a refund as the extra night we had paid for was not needed due to our booking being fixed the previous night by almost midnight. We tried explaining that we didn’t want to pay for the extra night however that is what was advised to us by the booking staff the night before who stood there quietly as if he wasn’t the one who told us to do so. The service manager was the most disrespectful individual I have come across telling us that he wouldn’t issue a refund as it wasn’t the fault of the hotel. There had been extra complications arising as there had now been 3 bookings under our name by the following morning no fault of our own but now miscommunication between travel agents and the hotel. Whilst I was trying to explain the situation the service manager asked that I be quiet and that he wasn’t going to listen to me. I felt berated by this person and as a result went to speak to the manager of the hotel. The manager of the hotel was just as rude and was not empathetic with the situation at all. I explained that our first time experience of umrah had been ruined by the lack of understanding and disrespect from the staff at the hotel. The manager himself was just as rude and not wanting to listen. After going to our bedroom we found that the water from the sink was brown, plug sockets were broken, tv was broken, phones were broken and shower wasn’t working properly. During our time here we had housekeeping visit us once and we had asked SEVERAL times for two days straight for extra towels, toilet roll and an iron which we got half through the trip. The breakfast was probably the only decent thing about this hotel. I wouldn’t dare to recommend this hotel to anyone.

************* completed my umrah and the experience of the hotel was excellent . It was a total 7 minutes trip from my room to the haram. One thing I’ll say is that the breakfast does lack some variety but I guess it’s like that everywhere else. The service was great however when I called rooms service to provide some tea mugs they listen but didn’t fulfill the request. Maybe they forgot. Beds we’re comfortable and the layout was nice. We were upgraded to the partial haram view upon requesting it at check in. They upgraded without hesitation. For value this is a great hotel. 2 minutes from the hotel is Al baik and souk Al khalil which is a good option for food and shopping. Personally found Islamic attire cheaper here than the clock tower.

We stayed for a week. Overall, it was a decent experience although ultimately overpriced during Umrah. The room was relatively small. We were able to add a third guest at a cost of 300 riyals per night which was reasonable but only a bunk bed was offered and it took the minimal space available. The bathroom sink was clogged during our entire stay despite repetitive requests made to the cleaning staff and on the Bonvoy Marriott app. The food experience is however terrible! Iftar at the restaurant is extremely overpriced for 250 riyals per person and unjustified for a food of poor quality and not tasty at that. The scheduling was also hectic. Iftar was only from 7 to 9 pm and Sohour from 1 to 3 am; meaning if one wanted to attend Taraweeh, they would not be able to eat by the time they came back from the Mosque and would have to wait until 1 am to sustain themselves, which is ridiculous. We were therefore eating at the coffeeshop reception which was offering a buffet for 100 riyals per person, which was still overpriced for what it was. Only a few items were offered and not replenished.

También puedes conseguir hierro/tabla con frigorífico en la habitación. También puedes oír azana del Haram. El barco era muy bueno - cada vez que nos fuimos a un autobús estaba allí y siempre se dejó sin esperar demasiado. Un par de minutos a la Haram y luego unos dos o tres minutos a pie en la mezquita. Puedes caminar a Haram del hotel si quieres - unos 10 minutos. Un poco más difícil de caminar de regreso de Haram como es la montaña. Los hoteles del Centro de Convenciones Marriott y Hilton están a una distancia de paseo y todos los transbordadores de estos tres hoteles se detenen en el mismo lugar tan fácil de capturar cualquiera de ellos en el camino hacia atrás y cruzar una calle tranquila a su hotel - no hay necesidad de esperar doble La habitación de la habitación es muy agradable.

This was a good hotel, generally clean with good facilities. It is around 1km from the Haram (Kaaba). There is a free bus shuttle service which runs every 10-15 minutes to & from the Haram, which drops around 600m from the Haram. Be sure to leave early from the Hotel to reach for the prayers on time. The room was clean as well as the toilet. Hotel staff was generally friendly. There are two restaurants on levels R & H, as well as prayer room at floor PR if someone needs it.

Muy cerca de Haram y todas las instalaciones. Las habitaciones se limpian regularmente o a petición. Servicios de restaurante buenos, pero con una selección limitada. Sólo el problema era el tamaño de las habitaciones. Aunque sabíamos que será más pequeño, pero no esperaba que fuera más pequeño. No había mesa para mantener al menos 1 equipaje y tuve que arrastrar a mi cama, ya que sólo estaba abierto un lado. A petición, cambiaron la habitación a una habitación ligeramente más grande. Por el precio que podría usarlo de nuevo.

En particular, los miembros del personal, Sr. Salim y Sr. Ayman, de la familia de la familia, me pidieron que cancelase mi reserva de booking.com y que les transferiera el dinero directamente. No lo hice así. Las fechas no se mostraron para una habitación cuadrada, así que dijeron que sólo la reservamos y nos ajustaremos nuestro fin. La reserva no fue reembolsable y ahora no están reembolsando la noche extra que no me quedé allí porque el Sr. Salim ahora lo nega. Segunda pregunta habíamos reservado una habitación cuadrada y necesitamos 4 toallas, el Sr. Ayman de la casa de la 11ª planta gritó y gritó diciendo que sólo tiene dos camas en su habitación, sólo tiene 2 toallas. Debí subir y discutir con él y tener a su personal que bajara para probarle que habíamos reservado una habitación cuadrada. Absolutamente broma y hotel no han hecho ninguna disculpa. Vine por Umrah y literalmente el peor servicio que he recibido en mi vida. No me gustan los servicios de la casa, pero no me gustan los servicios de la casa.

Voy a estar en este hotel 16 días y es la habitación que me han asignado es la 103,pedí una habitación más alta y me dieron la 703 pero no me gustó le faltaba algo y volví a la 103. El hotel es de los años 60 El servicio muy bueno el desayuno inmejorable,pero claro 16 dias el mismo bufet cansa,pero hay mucha variedad. Cenamos un día en el restaurante del hotel,para mi gusto un poco pobre y poca calidad,para lo que cobran. El servicio de las habitaciones inmejorable,muy amables Total muy contento y volvería a este hotel

i walk in to the hotel as I was unhappy with the tour group hotel. Mr. Yasir attended me with a warm and friendly attitutude. He arranged my stay for 5 nights. He was vry attentive and ive got the best kaabah view . Alhamdulilah🤍 I felt at home here. food is many with shopping plenty. Will def come again. Insha Allah.

I usually stay a lot closer to the haram during my visit to Makkah, but during Ramadhan the prices rocket so I've had no other option but to find a clean tidy hotel at a reasonable price. I stayed here many times before (all during Ramadhan). The hotel is around 10 mins from the Haram by car. You cannot walk it from the hotel to the haram (not walkable distance, plus it goes through the mountain tunnels). You can get a taxi for around 10 rials to the haram, but on the way back it can be slightly more - around 15-20 rials (just keep haggling). From the drop off point, it's around 10 mins walk. The hotel does run a shuttle bus for free, but I've never used it simply because of the timing. The shuttle bus drops you at the coach station area which leads the footpath to Mount Marwa side of the haram. Don't bother looking for the shuttle bus from the haram to the hotel, it's a total nightmare and chaos during salah times so better off just taking a taxi. The rooms are clean, tidy and quite. The room service is horrible, they never clean your room despite several requests. The AC is good and blows cold air. A number of lifts, so you don't get stuck waiting around for ages. Due to it's location, it's not busy like the hotels right next to the haram. There are number of restaurants nearby and also a bin Dawood at walking distance. When you want to get a taxi from the haram and don't speak arabic, just tell the driver ”Makaram al bait, khareeb Bin Dawood”, this has worked for me each time - they will know exactly where you want to go. Like i said, don't pay more than 15 rials.. There is also a masjid very close to the hotel if you end up missing the prayer at the haram.

Very good location like 5 minutes walk from Haram and just behind clock tower building and my room was partial Haram View so I could see people going and coming from entrance of Haram.Many food outlets and grocery shops were just next to hotel.Only issue was horn sounds from busses and cars as it’s just opposite bus and taxi station.Room size and facilities were good but only bathroom needs some renovation as it doesn’t smell good.Staff was very friendly.

This was a good hotel, generally clean with good facilities. It is around 1km from the Haram (Kaaba). There is a free bus shuttle service which runs every 10-15 minutes to & from the Haram, which drops around 600m from the Haram. Be sure to leave early from the Hotel to reach for the prayers on time. The room was clean as well as the toilet. Hotel staff was generally friendly. There are two restaurants on levels R & H, as well as prayer room at floor PR if someone needs it.
