Heat was out in room and temp was 58 in room. Please note I stayed 2 nights in room 516 and second night heat was fixed and I was satisfied with a decent night sleep albeit the bed was rickety and the automatic window shades were worn and had some sort of greasy stains on them, rather gross.
Manager on duty offered me 10k Hilton rewards points but a one night stay would cost 20k points; this isn’t equatable for the terrible lack of sleep because it was too cold in room.
How about being fair and offer night for night(1 night ) for the lack of attention to detail in preparing room and having no quality control for and knowledge if the heat and/or A/C in room is functional or not before assigning room.
Over all this is a poor reflection on Hampton for being apparently cheap in this instance and delivering an inferior product while attempting to placate a regular client with window dressing.
Additionally the beds in room 516 are rickety and are need of replacing,
