Podol Plaza Hotel

Overall I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel I would echo the comments of other travelers regarding requesting a room at the back of the hotel as the street-facing rooms are quite noisy. Bathroom is large clean and had outstanding water pressure other than that the rooms are clean, beds comfortable, and staff helpful. My neighbors were making some "interesting" noises at a deafening volume throughout the night so I had to switch rooms at 2 am. Less than ideal but the staff handled this quite professionally and with a degree of humor and relatability that I appreciated. The neighborhood is lively and well connected by public transport. Lots of authentic local restaurants and bars. Overall a great starting point for exploring Kiev. At 60USD a night I would return.

Excellent location, very friendly staff, nice breakfast, very reasonnable price. The only problem here would be the noise: in the rooms facing the street you will experience the daily loud and heavy trembling of the tram (from 5 AM!!) and in the yard rooms you could hear the permanent buzzing sound of the AC system (but this should depend on the location of the room - so check first!).

Остались прекрасные впечатления от отеля, хорошая локация, уютная атмосфера, вежливый и дружелюбный персонал. Мгновенно откликаются на все просьбы, завтрак разнообразен, вид на улицу красивый, при этом шум города не раздражает. Все понравилось

Très bonne adresse, un peu en dehors du centre, mais à 2 pas d’un metro , dans un quartier sympathique et animé . Excellent petit déjeuner ( buffet), plus agréable que les « menus » généralement proposés

В отеле очень тонкие стены и практически отсутствует звукоизоляция. За 3 ночи а этом отеле я ни разу не смогла выспаться. Окна моего номера выходили на улицу, поэтому каждый раз как проежал трамвай, а ездит он до глубокой ночи в комнате был грохот. Кроме того, Вам будет слышно все , что делает другой житель в соседнем номере...слышно так, как будто человек рядом всеми находится. Мне не понравилось. Тем, для кого важен покой после рабочего дня этот отель точно не подойдёт.

Останавливалась на одну ночь, перед свадьбой. Расположение отеля хорошее, в историческом центре города. Комнаты в классическом стиле, и у меня была ванна в которой я могла полежать и немного отдохнуть перед таким важным днём. Меня немного смущал звук проезжающих рядом трамваев. Завтрак был хороший в приятном ресторане на 1 этаже.
