Upon arrival, we were told that we did not have a reservation. I contacted **********, and spent the next 20 minutes on a chat with a customer service representative who had absolutely zero authority or ability to do anything other than to tell me 'they are sorry for the inconvenience' but there was nothing he could do other than refund my prepaid room in the next two weeks. Luckily, the staff at the hotel was fantastic, and patiently worked with the CSR from **********, who never provided any guidance or support. The hotel staff was able to assist us, and get our stay arranged. It is rare to find staff this helpful, this persistent, and this accommodating when they could have simply turned us away like the CSR from ********** had done.
