Xiangyuan Yungu Holiday Hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a comfortable hotel in the beautiful and serene Yellow Mountain, Anhui. The overall experience was excellent, thanks to the comfortable accommodations and the stunning natural surroundings. The hotel itself provided a peaceful and relaxing a**osphere, making it the perfect retreat for anyone looking to escape the bustling city life. The rooms were well-maintained and offered all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The staff was polite and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries. One of my favorite aspects of the hotel was its idyllic location amidst the breathtaking scenery of Yellow Mountain. Waking up to the awe-inspiring views of lush forests and majestic peaks was a truly unforgettable experience. Exploring the nearby trails and enjoying the fresh mountain air served as the perfect tonic for the soul. However, my only disappoin**ent was with the dining options at the hotel. While the food provided within the hotel was of decent quality and showcased local cuisine, it would have been nice to have some alternative dining choices nearby. As the hotel was the only dining option in the immediate vicinity, it limited the opportunities to explore the local food scene.

Very modern and nicely renovated hotel which retains all the charm of the historical building. Great staff who went out of the way to help us with the luggage and bringing us to the cable car and bus pick up points.

Hotel tastefully decorated, mixing classic Chinese aesthetics with modern minimalist lines. There’s an Onsen style spa in the hotel with 4 pools that helps you recover from the trekking day. The breakfast has a good variety of choices, although it didn’t change for the 3 nights we stayed. The staff in the spa was really nice, the same as the chauffeur of the hotel. The girls in the front desk were just OK, doing their job, but not quite welcoming as we expect from such category of hotel. I think it’s the only point to improve as I think that they are the first face a guess meets when entering from a long trip.

在煙雨四月遇上雲谷山莊，真的太幸運了。 大學時在圖書館裏看了一本講訴徽州歷史文化的書，被書中湯顯祖那句“一生痴絕處，無夢到徽州”的詩句吸引，就很嚮往在細雨中穿行於江南小巷的青磚黛瓦的白牆下的意境、想看看“多從黃白遊”，是不是真的名副其實。多年後終於成行。黃山風景肯定是美的，但我錯誤估計了我的能力和天氣，徒步下山，全程殼膝蓋和小腿如同上酷刑[捂臉]上山下山山頂，一路都是白茫茫一片，迷霧厚重，看了個寂寞。選擇的半山腰的雲谷酒店，真是應了清明節的景，濃霧中順着疊瀑流水轟鳴的聲音，過了座小橋，就隱約看見一幢忽然出現的宅子，門口草叢若隱若現的石童子詭異的微笑，配上這色調，真有點陰森森的聊齋感覺，非常推薦這種體驗感，寂寥清冷，曲徑通幽，隨處走上一條小徑，可能就有分金定穴的風水寶地。今日全身酸爽，走路篩糠，不得不放棄徽州古村落的行程打道回府。舒服的度假旅程會留在美好的照片裏，找虐的旅行如修行，這次可能有點像修仙，這樣的慘過才會刻骨銘心吧。我後來才知道，湯顯祖的詩句並非夢想徽州，而是“這個世上的人都向往多金的徽州，但是對於我來説，連做夢都不曾想過，所以不願意去”。雖然意思曲解了，我願意再説，有夢到徽州。

酒店服務很好，提前加好工作人員微信溝通，有專門的停車場和司機師父來接，運送行李；因為是自駕，後面車鑰匙落在酒店了還很快就送到了寄存點；一到酒店就有免費的下午茶，而且住在裏面窗外的造景也很好，房間的照片忘記拍了，但是裝修風格很雅緻，衞生設施也很到位；酒店位置就在後山雲谷索道站下面一點點，無論是上山前休整，還是下山後休養都是不錯的選擇。

温泉和晚餐都被驚艷到了，感謝司機的熱心接送，酒店位置在雲谷索道傍邊，住酒店省去了景區大巴，能節省不少時間，當天景區3萬4千人，7點半排隊20分鐘坐纜車，已經入園9千人，全天一路人流尚可，除去猴子觀海等特定點在山上排隊，基本也都半小時完事。 唯一的遺憾是住一晚從這邊上山走一圈再去迎客松下，有點體力吃不消，原路返回加西海一環用了一萬七千步，下午三點下山。
