Peaceful Bush experience. Unfortunately not the birding haven we hoped for. Management of the reserve is excellent. We were camping. Had a private site. Facilities are good, although the wi-fi at our site wasn't working and we had to drive towards the reception to get a signal.

We so enjoyed our one-night stay at Bonamanzi, from the minute we arrived until we left. What will stick in our minds, is the attitude and smiling faces of the staff. Nothing was too much. Despite being two of possibly, four guests at the time of dinner, we were even asked if we wanted the restaurant staff to start a fire in the firepit! this would have been really, a lot of work for just us!!

Situated about an hour and a half north of Richard's Bay. Well kept, clean with very friendly staff, willing to assist. Game drive (saw the leopard) and team building exercises were awesome. Repaired my punctured tyre (Carl and Nkule) and went the extra mile to alleviate my worries about this. The grilled fish was one of the best I have had. Accommodate was excellent.

The forest sites are great and so are the ablutions. Well maintained and serviced daily. The campsite nicely shaded and very generously sized. The pool area quite and beautiful. We enjoyed our game drives in the park. Breathtaking scenery and the park roads are impeccable. We saw elephants, giraffes, and other game. We will be back 😄

As usual, we had a tranquil and satisfying stay in one of the countries best birding venues. The fact that we are allowed to walk in a Big 4 reserve creates a subtle excitement as it keeps you wide awake. The Treehouse accommodation is always ideal as you are virtually living in the canopy of the trees.

We had the most incredible trip with friends for a wedding. Game drives, walks, amazing food, dancing, stunning wedding; it was superb!! The setting is beautiful, rooms are lovely, restaurant and breakfast was brilliant 🤩 will definitely be back!!

Bonamanzi is a beautiful place to visit, my colleagues and I had a wonderful visit there, the tour guides were amazing and also the receptionist. I wish to visit again and maybe stay longer next time.

Had a good stay camping at the oval campsite with private ablutions. No's 11, 12 and 13 were just great while braais at other numbers needs some routine maintenance. Overall experience was good, and we will visit again.

The Bonamanzi game reserve is an agent getaway for a weekend in the bush or for longer stays. We enjoyed our camping weekend so much that we found ourselves planning a return trip as we were leaving the reserve.
