I was enticed by the competitive prices offered by the hotel as compared to other big hotels in the capital but my two day stay was a mixed bag of good and bad experiences. Some staff members especially the reception teams that were there on the 8th when I checked in were quite receptive. Personnel whom I interacted with over the phone for help in the room completely ignored whatever they had promised to sort out. Someone said please call again after sometime because he had just picked the phone when he was passing through, one wonders then why he bothered to pick the call when he was not prepared to at least take the message. On the 11th my simple request for an iron ended me regretting why I did so in the first place. However, I was impressed with Management whom I met on the morning when checking out, the male manager(big in stature) actually carried my luggage that included a sack which had some sugarcane plants to my surprise. The reason I have taken this time is really premised on the need for hotel to improve on these small issues but that matter to clients. Jameson Hotel has been my organization's strategic partner and assist us a lot hence by pointing out these issues I am very much eager to see the hotel growing. I hope this will be taken positively and please be advised that this information will be for the hotel only. I wish to come back once again and even recommend the hotel. Thank you
