This hotel is everything you would expect from a Courtyard Marriott and located about a 30-minute walk from West Lake. When we arrived the front desk worker made a mistake while scanning our passports so I received a note later in the day that I needed to return to the front desk. The problem was resolved and I was given free breakfasts for 2 days for our family of four.
We frequently saw a robot moving through the hotel, getting onto the lift, and even coming to our door when we called room service.
Unfortunately the pool was being serviced during our stay so we were unable to use it.
This is a good hotel if you don’t mind being a few minutes away from West Lake.

Excellent staff at reception and concierge, especially Qiu Xiao Han at concierge helped us to send parcel, and gave full details of the shops that my husband inquired of.
Good location and convenient for some simple food and amenities. Near Wulin night market and plenty of snacks and fruits shops around. Highly recommended for leisure as well as business travellers.

The hotel is quite well located, but otherwise is quite basic. Being part of the Marriott brand, I expected a little more luxury, especially given the price - this is not a cheap place to stay but it looks and feels like a budget hotel. The room and everything in it (which was not much) was quite dated and shoddy. It’s also not a place for tall people - the bed was very short, even though the room was large and could accommodate a much larger bed. Breakfast is an additional 58 RMB per night if you book at the front desk, but if you change your mind and try to turn up on the day, it’s 128 RMB. Overall, I was quite disappointed.
