Quality Inn

Horrible experience. You pre-pay yet they put a $200 hold on your credit card. Front desk has no empathy towards this situation. No emotion or offer to help in any way. Will never stay here ever again or any Quality Inn.

It was absolutely horrible, it’s hard to pull in it’s the smallest little opening, the lady at the front was very rude, i waited 40 minutes to even be able to get checked in because she couldn’t get it right for the gentleman before us, our rooms was already paid for in full when we got there, but showing the card and Id wasn’t enough she said debit cards weren’t allowed to be used, showed me a paper that said credit card or cash, she then tried to tell me my credit card declined which she was trying to enter manually and was asked to retry maybe it was entered wrong she refused saying only can once and got rude and hateful and when I said I’d use cash she said that location didn’t accept any cash but yet it was on the paper she showed me. Went next door to the loves and my credit card worked just fine. We got it to where we’d get our money back but not for 5-7 business days and we had to go up the road and pay for another hotel, which the card worked just fine. I will avoid this chain all together from now on.

Cleanliness and the staff was exemplary. Breakfast was good. Only downside was that they didn’t have an elevator and beds were extremely firm.

This hotel was clean, well maintained, quiet, friendly, and overall, exemplary. I wish all Quality Inns were all like this one. We were towing a long trailer which didn't fit into the lot but the hotel owns a adjacent dirt lot which can hold several over-sized vehicles so it was no problem.

We stayed the night here and the place was clean, quiet and the staff was very helpful. We couldn’t fit our truck and boat trailer but they had a gravel space next to the parking lot we were able to use. The gentleman taking care of the breakfast bar was professional and delightful to talk to. Breakfast had some great choices. Would stay again if in the area.

Update, this place charged my card over $300 for incidentals!! I stayed there alone (single professional female) on a business trip..i was there for less than 12 hours!! The room was perfect when I checked out, i took lots of photos. This is blatant fraud. Extremely rude staff, check in was obnoxious..I travel for a living and this place is absurd. They would not let me use chip reader on counter..took my credit card and typed in all the info manually..this is not safe and leaves guests prone to fraud..read all the negative reviews about unauthorized charges, this location has multiple serious complaints re CC fraud. Rooms are very bare, beds are not queen size, uncomfortable, tv was small and only had 20 basic channels, dead bolt on door did not work, exterior door lock was missing so anyone can walk in..there are very few amenities nearby. I had to put a second security hold on my card due to fraud concerns. I initially filed a complaint with corporate about them and they retaliated by stealing money from my card!! Beware of this place! Terrible!

Worst experience ever!!! I paid for a Quality Inn room through *******. When I arrived at 9 PM, the receptionist told me I could not park my U-Haul trailer on the property and held up a sign stating no trucks or trailers. I said there were plenty of parking spaces. I explained that I had a handicap sticker and wanted to park there, but she said NO. I asked to talk to the manager, and she said I could not. She said I could park off property behind a row of trees in a field. I responded that was unacceptable. I went outside and discovered a large parking lot on the backside of the motel. It was totally empty. I went back in and requested my room and onsite parking. The receptionist responded, NO. I went and viewed the crowded parking area next door in a field. It was mainly concealed behind a row of trees. When I walked back to my vehicle, two police cars arrived. The receptionist had called the police to demand that I leave the property. I explained to the police the situation and showed them the empty parking lot. With no results, they tried to persuade the motel to allow us to park on the property. Police said they had been called before to this motel when customers felt they had been cheated out of $. Avoid this hotel in Hamilton, AL.

Do not stop at this one, keep going! The staff does not want to work with anyone checking in after 11 o’clock at night! Very frustrating when you’re exhausted from traveling and all you want is a bed to sleep in. Got up to the room it was filthy, hair in the bathtub mildew on the bathroom floors, broken window seals, and it looks like the sheets tip and slept in. Very disappointing!
