I just needed a place to stay after attending a concert at Winstar. My first impression when we pulled up was oh my what have I done. The parking lot is full of old furniture & dirty wore out mattresses. I am assuming they must be remodeling some rooms. The lady who checked us in was friendly, but the smell of the front desk area was terrible. It was a mix between some kind of chemicals and some kind food. It seriously made my eyes water and there was no way I was going back in there to eat their so called breakfast. I was a bit concerned about the sign hanging up that read “no refunds 15 minutes after check in”…how many people have asked for their money back if they had to hang a sign. I couldn’t park in front of my room due to the piles of furniture, but I was able to park a few doors down. The room door was very hard to open, but after we finally got inside we were very surprised at how clean the room looked. The beds were comfortable, but they both squeaked EVERY TIME you moved. The bedding was clean though and each bed had three comfortable pillows. The bathtub was kinda dirty and dripped water all night. They placed one bar of soap in the shower with a half empty bottle of shampoo, but no soap at the sink to wash your hands.
The air didn’t cool very well and we were warm most of the night, but seemed to start cooling down early this morning. Probably wouldn’t be my first choice if I was looking to book in the area again, especially if I was staying more than one night.
