Beach House Inn

First of all we got the wrong room, we booked a king bed with jacuzzi and we got a 2 queen bed. The mattress was very old and squeaky, very uncomfortable to sleep in. Coffee maker didnt work.

It’s an amazing stay for the price , few 4 star average abrupt customer service . I remember breakfast included in the booking. No breakfast service . In the shower no place for soap holder . Have to bend down each time to pick up soap and wash cloth . Poor design .

We took a spontaneous drive to the coast to get some fresh air and vitamin sea. Found this little gem last minute and it was fantastic. Clean, comfy, economical, right off the main road and close to the beach. Highly recommend and will be coming back again!

Room was spacious and clean. Parking was challenging because the parking lot was very tight. We once came and there was no parking so the front desk said to park in the handicap This was not walking distance to any food or grocery, so we had to make sure we got whatever we needed before going back to room at end of night.

Our room was by the enrty door, so it was very noisy as people were slamming the door through out the night. We had poor sleep because of the door slammed and loud noises. Our faucet was hard to turn on, it was stuck and you have struggled with yo turn on and off. The bed wasn't very comfortable either.

I reserved a king without view but was given a walkup king with a view southwards across the inlet, and a double bathtub next to the bed. Had to lug baggage up the stairs, no lift. Little things needed maintenance, shower fan screeched and desk chair sank under me. Furnishings looked "fully amortized" generally. Maid never came in during my 5 day stay. Tossup as to whether I'd stay again.

Very convenient lodging if visiting Fort Bragg or the surrounding area as it is located right on the main road through town and very close to Glass Beach. Was able to check in early, although the young lady at the front desk wasn’t very welcoming. Nice large tv, clean microwave, and mini-fridge in room. Mattresses seem dated; classic box spring so not the most comfortable sleep we’ve ever had but completely acceptable. A few negative comments about the room and experience. There is included high speed wifi, though the range is limited and doesn’t seem to stay connected for very long. Cell service is spotty in the area so the convenience of wifi was a plus, but ultimately was barely usable in the room we were staying in. The tv was seemingly new and worked fine until it didn’t; the Netflix app froze and the tv became unresponsive resulting in us calling the front desk. Thankfully, onsite maintenance was able to fix the issue. Huge thanks to the evening hotel attendant for getting that sorted out! The bathroom is modern but random items that stood out were prolific rust on a floor vent, a somewhat large tear in the fabric of the included ironing board, some suspicious brown smear on the ceiling above one of the beds, and finally the ice machine available to guests was severely corroded and unsanitary. Although an affordable option and rated ‘Excellent’ on ******* we likely won’t stay there again as the experience was closer to what you’d expect at a cheaper chain of hotels.

Clean and comfortable room. Nice staff. The grounds are maintained and clean. No complaints. I would stay at The Beach House Inn again. Close to great beach access and great food in town. Thanks Beach House Inn!

Wonderful, little cozy hotel. I must say, though, for a woman who’s always had a hard time, trying to put makeup on in hotel rooms and bathrooms, because they are always so poorly lit, this place has bright lights and was well lit. Kudos who ever did the light fixture designing, as poorly lit hotel rooms and bathrooms are one of my biggest pet peeves.
