Country Apartments

We recently spent 3 nights at the Country Apartments. We've stayed at quite a few places in Dubbo over the years and this was definitely the best we've found. Location: It's a very short walk (a couple of blocks) into the centre of Dubbo and is about a block from the highway, so there's no traffic noise. It's also a short walk to nice cafes on Darling street. Facilities: The units were spotlessly clean, freshly renovated and well appointed with great kitchen & laundry facilities, comfortable beds, quiet aircon and good TVs. The gardens are well kept and offer a shady, tranquil area to relax. The hosts are friendly, helpful and looked after us every step of the way, from booking to checkout. Overall it was a fantastic experience.

Fantastic spacious homely accommodation! All the conveniences needed for a comfortable stay! Close to shops. Off street parking. Very quiet even though close to a fairly main road. Manager very helpful sending directions to the property & how to collect the key.

I would highly recommend staying here. Not only for the beautiful and comfortable rooms but, the extra touches, like the heaters being on to warm the rooms on arrival, the fruit in the fruit bowl, the delivery of chocolate and milk on my second day. Rosemarie is the perfect host. She made me feel not just as another customer but more like a part of the family. This was very supportive especially for me being in a new town away from family. If staying in Dubbo, you must stay here.

Great location if you are spending a few days in Dubbo. Spacious, very clean together with friendly, caring staff. Whether it is for business or pleasure these apartments are hard to beat. You won't be disappointed.

My wife and I visited Dubbo with our adult daughter. Stayed in Apartment 1, which was very clean and neat and tidy. Booking and paying was a breeze. Received clear instructions on how to access the apartment and use the wifi etc. Apartment was very comfortable, well maintained and the grounds were well kept. Apartments are close to a shopping centre, the Western Plains Cultural Centre and a two-minute walk from a fantastic cafe that was open and serving breakfast just after 6am on a Saturday morning! Highly recommended if you are having a visit to Dubbo.

Unbelievable establishment with the most caring and efficient staff and management. As I’ve travelled all over the world for business this is by far a diamond in the rough. The owners and highly trained staff are faultless at providing a professional service that has really old school country style. The grounds are manicured to perfection, the pool is cleaned every morning perfectly and the location is so accessible to everywhere in the Dubbo city location . An oasis in the heart of a major Australian rural capital that has to be seen to believed . No joke 5/5 stars 👍🏽

We were a group of 5 and stayed in the villa Mews for 2 nights. The villa was very spacious. It was clean and well equipped. When we come back to Dubbo we would certainly return to the same accommodation if it were available.

A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in apartment 4, a two bedroom apartment with queen bed in one room and two singles in the other. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed and even extra things we didn't think we would use for a short stay, like a washing machine. The beds and pillows were comfortable, the place is fairly quiet at night. There is no street noise but when it comes to your neighbours in the other apartments, it will be a lotto to see if you get respectful quiet ones! We were quite lucky with neigbours at No3 that made minimal noise. The pool was lovely, it was hot when we stayed and was nice to cool off in. The first use on February 28th, there were quite a few leaves and insects floating on the water surface, but I just swished them away with my hand. By the following day cleaning had been done as there were almost no leaves or insects in the pool. The apartments are located close to Dubbo town centre so great location.

The apartment was very clean, modern, suited our needs perfectly, and we would love to return and stay again. The apartment we stayed in was near the town centre but it was nice and quiet. The pool was inviting and the bbq area was neat and tidy.
