We stayed for 2 nights as a base to visit Sigiriya and the Dambulla caves. Very good location for both. Highlights: friendly staff, super buffet, airy rooms with shaded balconies and a relaxing view over the paddy fields. No big tour groups and a wide variety of visitors. We also loved the spa massages. Don’t let the location near a road put you off. Not intrusive at all and all very quiet in the hotel.

I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. A wonderful place in the middle of a peaceful park. Very spacious and comfortable rooms. Excellent food and an amaizing staff. A very special thank you to Rasangi, Damidu and Sadaruwan. Hope to come back soon.

The bed was plush, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the nearby attractions. Our time here was a refreshing blend of comfort, simplicity, and the beauty of village life. Excellent place to stay.. All is too good. Their ALL staff are very kind and helpful and they will try to make your stay most comfortable. A dip in their swimming pool was most relaxing Food was excellent

We stayed there for 1 Night only as We reached late in Night and checked out in the morning for Sigiriya Rock excursion. Very near to both Sigiriya & Dambulla Caves. Very Simple & Basic Rooms but Good Location. Staff is quite helpful One improvement is that cleanliness need lot to be desired but still good night stay while on Sigiriya excursion…..

Very nice resort, tucked away just a few meters from the main road. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice and had ample space even for triple occupancy. Overall a very good option to stay in. The only suggestion would be to check the possibility of increasing the options in the vegetarian section of the menu, including in the a-la-carte menu. Available options are good though!! Another suggestion is if they could switch to white colored bath linen rather than brown

I stayed in pelwegera village Resort for one night on 13th December 2023. I liked the Resort very much. The Room was very clean and good. The Dinner and Breakfast was very good. All the Staff working in the Reception, Restaurant and the Housekeeping Boys were very friendly, helpfull and dedicated. I would highyly appreciate and recommend this Resort to all my Friends and Relatives in India.
