Even though the booking was done and paid through Trip.com the hotel asked on arrival that we pay resort fees so I provided my credit card and later realized that the hotel charged me for the entire stay not just resort fees like they said, and they actually charged me twice! When checking out I told the hotel staff about their mistake and they said they’ll refund me however when I checked my credit card I noticed the refund but also several additional charges so they basically refunded me and charged me again!! I tried calling the hotel but nobody answers so my advice is to stay away from this hotel! Additionally they had bed bugs!! So not only you’re paying 3-4 times the price but you’re also getting bit by bed bugs!

The representatives were all very friendly and informative.
The room was very comfortable and very clean.
The pool was very nice but a bit cool due to it’s always in shade between the Hotel and the neighboring building.
Complimentary breakfast was a variety. From dry cerial, to hot oa**eal or grits, to waffles to eggs and fried potatoes with peppers. Very Nice.
Only one suggestion would be to add a couple of towel holder hooks or racks so to be able to reuse.

Was given a room with a single bed when I reserved and 2 doubles a sofa bed. No big deal. Fixed that. Next day I have a whole family randomly walk into my room as I was resting from my Childs heart surgery. The manager, Mike. Had zero comprehension as this is ridiculously beyond a safety concern, giving a very nonchalant "sorry" like it’s no big deal. Fast forward to later when I’ve called 4 times for towels an a backed up toilet and again, zero sense of urgency, a nonchalant sorry again, and when I asked for a corporate number he refused and said I could “look up Choice” because he doesn’t know what I expect.
Plunger just arrived. I have to clear the clog myself.

Parking is limited at this location. And, the facility is not convenient to downtown Charleston and the many good restaurants and attractive tourist venues. But, the staff is friendly and helpful. Also, the room was clean and very functional.

Room was clean, breakfast was ok. Housekeeping didn’t come once during the 5 day stay. Highway behind building was VERY noisy.

The location to the events at SEWE at the park were good and the parking on premises was good. The room was dated and the cleanliness level wasn't the best. The hot water was lukewarm at best and the pillows were terrible.
