When I booked the room several months ago I requested no stairs. We are seniors and struggle with getting luggage up stairs. The desk girl said we were on the second floor with outside stairs. I told her I had booked months in advance and had asked for no stairs. Her reply was, “Well the hotel is full and that’s life!” How rude! The king bed only had three pillows. I asked for one more. Her reply, “We’ll the hotel is full and that’s all we’ve got.” Again, rude. A charge came to my credit card and I had prepaid the room so I asked about it. Her reply, “That’s a damage deposit and we can’t figure out why it does that. You’ll probably get it removed in about 72 hours.” Really?? “Probably?” Unacceptable answer. The room was dated but we expected that as the rate was low. Spots in the bathtub were painted over with white paint. It was, however, clean.
