Ocean Breeze Boutique Hotel & Marina

Lovely little hotel. Great location being close to the airport and local beaches. Room was nice and had everything you need. We hired a car and there was plenty of parking available. Great restaurant next to the hotel. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Our recent stay at Ocean Breeze Bonaire boutique hotel was absolutely delightful. Situated on a peninsula surrounded by water, including a charming small harbor, the location of Ocean Breeze is breathtaking. The two-bedroom apartment we stayed in was not only beautiful decorated but also incredibly practical. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploring the island. The apartment was kept refreshingly clean and there were more than enough towels and beach towels provided for our convenience. The complimentary Rituals hand soap and shampoo were a thoughtful touch, adding to the overall luxury of the stay. One of the highlights for my 84-year-old father was the wide selection of TV channels including four Dutch channels and several sports channels which kept him entertained during downtime. The housekeeping staff were incredibly friendly and attentive visiting our apartement three times over our 10-nights stay to change the beds and refresh the space. The front desk staff were also exeptionally helpful and welcoming always ready to assist with any queries or requests we had. Their warmth and hospitality truly enhanced our overall experience at Ocean Breeze. Overall, our stay at Ocean Breeze Bonaire exceeded all expectations and we are already looking forward to returning next year. Without doubt, Ocean Breeze will be our top choice for accomodation when we visit Bonaire again.

Honestly there must be dozens of better places to stay on Bonaire. Location is convenient as it is right across from the airport. It is within 10 minutes driving distance of downtown. It is located a few minutes away from a Dive Friends Bonaire shop, which is important for scuba divers. The downsides: 1) Housekeeping was nonexistent. We were there for 8 or 9 nights and housekeeping appeared to stop by 3 times, aka every three days. We are no longer in COVID times, so this is simply laziness on the part of the hotel. While I don't necessarily a super fancy service every day, how about at least replenishing the towels and taking the trash out? Too much to ask for this place. We had to repeatedly ask them for everything and anything related to housekeeping. 2) Front desk was utterly unhelpful with just about everything. First of all the young girls who are sitting there like to "disappear" into the room adjacent to the check in counter, and they all have a bit of an attitude. Every time we went up there to exchange towels, or place our luggage there, or etc, nobody was sitting at the check in desk - even in broad daylight at times like 1:30. Someone would finally pop their head out after a minute or two and it felt like we were greatly inconveniencing them by asking them for the most basic of items. These girls could use a lesson on customer service. 3) Hot water pressure is fine, but it was very difficult to control the temperature. We would have scalding water for a few minutes, then it would level off to a comfortable temperature, and then within 5-10 minutes would become immediately lukewarm and/or cold. Not ideal when you have several people returning from diving wanting to shower. 4) Very old kitchenware. The knives were exceptionally dull and would barely even cut up fruit. 5) Queen beds are really two twin beds squashed together and covered with sheets. There was still a gigantic crevasse in between the two beds. My husband and I kept rolling into this crevasse every night. Completely uncomfortable. Honestly, I was very unimpressed by this place and think there are dozens of other places to stay at on the island with better service and amenities.

Very nice hotel. I got a studio and was equipped with everyone one needs. Room was clean with all the amenities. Only small caveats: 1. If you don't have a car, the location is right next to airport but a bit far to center of town 2. I was there for 4 nights and the room was not cleaned although they told me that at the beginning.

Top of the Pops. I stayed in many Hotels and Resorts on Bonaire but Ocean Breeze is my No. 1. Perfect service, spotless clean and convenient location.

The place was good over all. Just that theres no ice machine. But otherwisd very good
