I would like to personally thank each and every employee at the Hilton Garden Inn Blacksburg for delivering outstanding service but there is one employee, Heidi Woodring, that was superior in her role as Assistant General Manager. I gave my daughter and her boyfriend a gift certificate for a two night stay at the location as a Valentine’s Day gift because the boyfriend is in the Navy and leaving for a 9 month deployment, which is his second in 6 months. It was very last minute and they forgot to take the hard copy of the gift certificate with them. Upon arrival, the front desk staff and Ms. Woodring did everything possible to help these two young people enjoy their last few days together, regardless of the fact they needed the actual gift certificate. After a few emails and calls the issue was immediately resolved by Ms. Woodring. All I can say is thank you to the General Manager for hiring an outstanding AGM. Ms. Woodring understands and delivers SUPERIOR customer service. I wish all people in the customer service field had her understanding, caring and compassion for their job. You are very blessed to have her and give her a raise! She sets the bar very high and we should all strive to meet the expectation!
