Hotel muy centrico, muy buenos baños y camas. No conocimos el SPA ni el restaurante. Solo estuvimos 1 noche. Sí volvería al hotel. El personal muy amable. Esracionamiento junto al hotel, muy centricoa solo 2 cuadras de calle peatonal y restaurantes

TRÈS GRANDE DÉCEPTION ! Nous avons un petit chien (bichon maltais) et avons pour habitude de téléphoner à l’hôtel avant le séjour pour nous informer du règlement. PRINCIPALE QUESTION : Le temps d’aller skier pouvons-nous laisser le chien dans la chambre ? Une charmante réceptionniste m’a dit « Oui bien sûr » Arrivés sur place le règlement ne ressemble en rien à celui expliqué au téléphone! Les contrariétés commencent. Panne d’eau chaude, chambre étouffante (l’hôtel à un très bon photographe) INTERDICTION de laissé le chien même 30 minutes dans la chambre. OBLIGATION de déposer les gamelles du chien dans la salle de bain. OBLIGATION de prendre le chien au restaurant de l’hôtel. Nous faisons participer notre chien pratiquement à tout mais skier avec le chien c’est impossible. LA DIRECTRICE EXÉCRABLE est sortie de son bureau pour nous expliquer MÉCHAMMENT le règlement. Nous rejoins dans la chambre pour vérifier de quelle manière nous avions installé notre chien. Et nous ordonne de quitter son hôtel si le règlement ne nous convient pas !!!! Nous avons l’habitude de voyager, Je précise que nous avons beaucoup de savoir vivre et que bien évidemment c’est la première que nous rencontrons une telle situation. Et tout ça devant notre fille de 5 ans. UN SCANDALE ! Dans ce cas mieux vaut refuser les chiens si on ne les accepte pas ! Évidemment comme partout le chien à payé son séjour donc il méritait d’être bien reçu. Nous avons quitté l’hôtel !

Stayed with friends just for one night Rooms spacious and clean Breakfast was really good with a wide selection. This is the 8th time I have stayed here in over 15 years and I’m always impressed. I would recommend this hotel

Great location, set below the mountains, just off the main streets and a very short walk to cafe's/restaurants. The rooms are quite small for a Classic Superior 3P which for 3 people is a stretch and actually a lounge chair and 2 single beds pushed togehter, not a double, making the seam a bit of a pain to manage. The tub/shower divider doesn't prevent water from spraying on the floor, causing a mess each time it is used and a waste of towels. The Staff were friendly enough and helpful but clearly restricted by the owner, who herself is clearly rude, aggressive and inexperienced as a hotel operator and very defensive and in denial of issues in the hotel, speficially in the room I booked as there was hair in bathroom, on the shower/tub walls, on the floor and between the shower/tun and vanity. When noted to the Front Desk Staff, they offered a smaller room and then a dark shaded room on the lower level which was of no interest instead of properly cleaning the room and offering some form of basic compensation - maybe breakfast and a drink at the bar. The Spa is well done and the lounge and breakfast areas are bright and spacious. A little people skills adjustments and more attention to detail would go a long way. The location is a mecca for alpine enthusiasts - being for cycling or hiking.

We had decided to make Barcelonnette the main part of our Alpine France / Northern Italy road trip and booked 6 nights at Hotel Spa Azteca. The hotel location was excellent with free car parking on site and many opportunities to sample a variety of cuisine in the local restaurants. We had the Mexican Room and would book it again without hesitation - good size, excellent cleanliness and room facilities. Breakfasts were also very good with ample choice (cook your own bolied eggs) and choice of inside or outside eating. All the staff were friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. They provided us with birthday cake, champagne and a personal message on my wife's birthday which we hadn't even mentioned or requested ourselves - a lovely touch and great attention to detail.

This is a nice hotel just on the edge of the main part of the town. You can easily get to many shops and restaurants in a 1 or 2 minute walk. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast is great! They have a locked room for bicycle storage and Barcelonnette is conveniently located for many good cols in the area.
