I booked two nights with Montigo Resort Kuta since it is near the airport. I have paid more than IDN 2million for one night. After I checked in with my children, the hotel condition was so terrible, dirty towels, ants on the table and floor , holds the sofa cover, and unknown disgusting things sticky on the bed skirt. I have stayed for one night due to already checked in and immediately run away to another hotel in the following morning because our skin appeared some of rashes. I asked the hotel to refund me at least one night charge. But they refused. They are not willing to refund they as per policy was not approved. It's really unfair to the consumer, because the Montigo resort room fee is so expensive and didn't perform as a high standard, clean hotel. Really terrible for conditions and hygiene. By right, the hotel's attitude is so arrogant and unreasonable. As a consumer , I have already completed my duty , I have made full payment , as a hotel , service supplier , you have to provide me equivalent. If hotel misconducted,you should refund me the compensation without doubt. So if your hotel is all like this, where is the reputation of the hospitality industry in Bali?
This Trip platform hasn’t take the responsibility to protect the consumers right as well. Sucks experience with trip and this Montigo resort!
