About accommodation: - The location was excellent, in the heart of the historic center. It was an old villa with a unique a**osphere that we enjoyed. - The rooms were tiny, without wardrobes, but they were clean and cozy. The cleaning wasn't done every day, but it was okay for us since we were only there for three days. Our room was only cleaned before our check-out day. Also, it was a bit damp in the room, but the beds were comfortable. - It was very noisy. You could hear people showering in the next room and even some conversations. The neighborhood with the bar, where music played until 5 AM, wouldn't allow you to sleep if you were looking for a quiet place. However, we were prepared for that. - The breakfast on the first day was good, but each subsequent day it seemed to get worse. The girls at reception said it depended on what food the management brought, and they served what was available. - The staff were very friendly and seemed to want to help, but there was a lot of miscommunication, and we still don't understand why or how. This review could have been positive, but due to some miscommunication between the management and the staff, the rating is lower than expected. Here's what happened: We were a group of family and friends who booked 5 rooms at the hotel to celebrate a birthday. We wanted to find a place with a friendly host and the option to customize our experience with additional services, such as a BBQ for the party. We were told it was possible. When we arrived, we found out that the BBQ was not available. To avoid upsetting us, they offered us a "generous" deal of paying 50 euros per person for the entire party, which only included salads and service, with food and drinks that we had to buy ourselves. We declined the offer and asked if we could sit in the garden and what the price would be for that option. They allowed us to do so and informed us that no additional money would be required. That day, my mother received flowers as a surprise from the hotel, and in the evening, they prepared a cake for the birthday celebration as a surprise. We were pleased with the hospitality we received and left a tip of 20 euros for the staff who served us that evening (though we collected the plates and cleared the table ourselves). When checking out, we also left 20 euros in tips for the girls who interacted with us. In total, we left 40 euros in tips. After that, these girls informed us that, based on information from management, we had to pay an additional 70 euros for a cake they had given us as a gift and two glasses of wine. We were surprised. When a negative review was posted on Airbnb, the host responded that the 60 euros was actually for the tips. Dear host, we think that the total of 100 euros in tips was a generous payment on our part, while you were unable to communicate with your staff regarding payments and therefore made this an unpleasant surprise. We wouldn't have had such a negative experience if you had informed us b
